Kid wanted to try on a pack. He seemed very excited. Wonder how excited he'd be at mile 10 and 50lbs which seem to get heavier with every step... lol

If you're unarmed, you are a victim
Holding wood in my hand chisel skipped out. Total first day mistake, and I totally knew better. The chisel is 3x as long as shown in the photo.
Good pocture. This thread needs more pictures.
Irv, get a dang wood vise for your shop bench. After my incident I reslized that the more expensive items are sctually cheaper and less painfull.
Btw, the fun starts after you heal and the internal scar tissue needs to let go. Feeling a rip inside your hand is a unique experiance....
Eh, I've got a vise, and more clamps than I know what to do with. I was just being lazy.
I have found this is biggest problem with DYI and I have been guilty of it my whole life.
Not laziness, over confidence and lack of experience. If you had spent 3 years as pro wood worker you would have known better and we would be calling you dumbass.
We have an old saying in our family.
"The cost of your education is the price of your mistakes." - this is why I say I have a Harvard education.
If you're unarmed, you are a victim
Well, not knifing or chiseling toward your own hand is pretty day one stuff.
But you don't have the peer group around you. You learn much from the mistakes of others and have over sight to stop you before stupid happens.
DYI = nobody to enforce safety or common sense or make sure your over confidence doesn't become laziness/stupidity.
If you're unarmed, you are a victim
I suppose that much is true.
What you need is a cardboard Irving, all bandaged up like an OSHA poster. Wherever you go, whatever you do, be your own reminder.
Also, you need an X Days Without An Accident calendar.
Were you wearing a PT belt?
I need to finish working on my house.
Maybe somebody could do a 3D print of OSHA Irv.
If you're unarmed, you are a victim
What has happen to people loyalty anymore it seems like it's an extinct ideal.
Not speaking about anyone on site just making a disturbing observation
The Statue of Liberty Offends me tear it down we have enough Free Loaders voting Democratic. Send it back to France
Maybe somebody could do a 3D print of OSHA Irv.
That's a great respectful and caring idea for him, but how would that spread the word about shop safety for everyone else? It's been a while since we had a sight T shirt offer ya know, so maybe we could incorporate a safety minded print of COAR OSHA Irving Tee that could help spread the safety message out to the world.
:D
Care about ya, buddy... ;)
Am I doing this Jeep thing right?

No. Those tires say All Terrain, but they are very clearly Mud Boggers.
Generally just family and "extended" (the people who swears your like family).
Long story..........it's also been a long day, month, 6 weeks.
Ridge you need to have that thing at about 45 degree angle or on it's roof for it to be considered a cool jeep pic [Beer]
The last picture is the only real Jeep picture, since it is clearly in the garage at Cherry Creek Mall.

I'll try for some off roading screenshots tomorrow night.
Driving to work this morning on a sheet of ice, I had an FJ Cruiser behind me acting like he had 4x4 and dangit, he was intending on using it to its perceived potential. I declared, as if he could hear me, that if he passed me I would gladly stop and render aid while making fun of him the entire time. Alas and alack, he simply pursued me in a frustrated manner and never passed. I never broke 40mph and only briefly shifted to 4th gear before realizing the rpms were far too low for 4th to be of use. Really surprised there was no delay declared.
No snow up here today, but supposed to be some on Saturday.
Thanks OBC.
Mazin, if honor was common, no one would ever have cared about it.
I was looking at that as well. Must be super aired down with very stiff outside sidewalls.
HEY!!!!
What ever happened to Dave Attell?
Found him on JRE from 2014, so listening today.
