No table saw, but I find myself handy with a 12" compound miter saw and a terrible jigsaw . So far it's actually coming together pretty well. I can always glue the face of a T-molding over the seam if it ends up bothering me too much.
Well, good luck with the project Irving. I hope it works out satisfactorily.
I'd like to see how it came out if he decides to share it with us.
First transition came together about as well as possible considering working with a not exactly square house AND ting to join my first ever attempt at flooring. It was looking good, so I took it all apart to glue it, but then it didn't go back together quite as tight the second time. Oh well. I'll probably leave it, then slap a T-mold over it if I ever sell.
13 hour drive to get home from Yellowstone. Not bad with two kids in the car. Bleary eyed and tired......time for a few beers.
stupid can't be fixed. DOT personnel were on site, stopped and asked if they needed help, they said no.
a little slick going over Elk Mountain today. 4wd doesn't mean you haul ass on snow and ice.

Wrong thread, Cav?
Not aware of a pertinent thread otherwise. Thought post-whore was for whatever?
It is. I took issue with CO-girl posting negative political shit the other day because I'd like a single corner of the website to not be infiltrated with bullshit. Also, there are already 55 other threads that would have been a good fit for what she was posting (don't even remember now) She nicely complied, but she didn't have to.
Just because I'm a loud mouth, doesn't mean I run anything.
I could have put it in the slingshot thread I guess, since the gazans are on video slinging rocks the size of softballs at IDF.

It's not an FJ owner thing, it's a 4wd complex issue. "Oh, oh, oh, I have 4WD/AWD and I can drive like a fucking idiot in any weather, I'm invincible!"
Sadly, I think he was badly injured because DOT crews were holding his hand in the vehicle and talking to him, and after I was told my help wasn't needed, I continued west and I saw a fire truck heading towards the accident at high speed, then a trooper, then an ambulance, then another trooper within 5-6 miles of each other.
pink tacos are the best. [emoji6]

CCW, but I'm teaching my version not some lack luster bs or tactical wanna be class. A happy mixture of theory, Sim shooting and CCW aspects like legal stuff, gear, insirance and most importantly Keeping your BOOGER PICKER OFF THE BANG BUTTON.
Sorry autocorrect automatically put that in caps lol.

It's all I can do to even get the dog to lay down. She constantly follows them everywhere. Then they start running, then she follows faster, etc. One ran past her face in the garden the other day and she even nipped at it.

Two rooms on the left I did 1-2 years ago, AND in different directions. Going into the hall from the room on the right was interesting, because then I had to stop and work from the bathroom back down to where I already was. That proved a bit of an interesting challenge. The previously shown board can be seen here spanning the hall and touching two door frames at once. The frames are steel and go all the way down to the concrete, so no easy sliding underneath.

Nice work, Irving. You bein' The Man showing that floor who's the bitch...........And.......throwing in Chicken and Duck master all on top of it.
Keep rocking.
Thanks. For trying to rush the floor out, it's still taking me what feels like a long time. I guess with 8 door ways and trying to go backwards and trying to see if I could incorporate old work it's not too bad. I will say though, that I should have followed the suggestion in the directions and not followed a brick pattern like I did. It would have been a much more efficient use of materials and an equal amount of measuring. It also might have been easier to keep the floor looking random. I feel like I keep getting down to where I have only a few pieces left, and they are all the same damn three!
I did laminate flooring in my Denver house down in the basement. I had no idea what I was doing, but learned some stuff in the process. Folks that have seen it said it looked good, and at the same time, if faced with doing again, I'd do it differently but not for any major reasons.....but rather the finer points if that makes much sense.
Absolutely. I learned a ton. It kind of sucks doing things, but not frequently, because then you forget most of what you learned the next time you go to do it. For example, I came up with a snazzy way to measure angled door trim using a quick clamp and speed square, but when it is a year between each time you do it, you don't remember until half way through.
