She does a good job not eating things. We encourage her to chase squirrels, and only discourage her from chasing rabbits because she's yanking the leash whenever that happens. She's curious, but I can tell they work up her pray drive when they start scattering. They'll all be friends soon enough. As of right now, the dog can get closer them all than I can before they all start running.
And on a different note.....my back is feeling pretty spry tonight. I might be able to hump that bunny by Sunday.
"Thanks, Easter Bunny"....."bok, bok".
Nah....just feeling positive about health improvement.
Though, some kinky cos-play isn't entirely off the table....especially if it's Kristine Noel. My latest 9 news anchor infatuation.
One chick died. It was lethargic. I watched some videos, came back and it was dead. Less than an hour between the time I noticed and it dying.
It's always a pleasure to leave a kind note to an elderly woman that says you love her, and thank you for letting me be in your life.
Only to be thrown in the trash with no mention of it.
Brother your taking it way to personal, you try and it's noticed but not observed, blame it on the age or condition or whatever but dude just know your doing the honorable thing and that has more value than anything in the world. If we had more honorable people our society wouldn't be as messed up as it is that's for sure. Trust me I know it's hard but just try not to take it to heart [Beer]
Btw I can honestly say I met some of the coolest people today in my class and it was a privilege for me to give them some information that , to top it if I had a blast!!!
Most fun i've had in a long time.
It also reminded me of why I love being apart of this community Call it cheesy but the term "salt of the earth" really does describe not only COAR but most of the people in the firearms community in general.
Hoverines!!!
Damn, dude that just rips at me because the day (literally) before my mom passed she was diagnosed with moderate to severe dementia. I received a couple disorienting calls before that prompted a Cogency test. I'm sorry GK and Lobo, just do what I'm trying and remember them at the high points of their lives since they can't right now.
Yeah...don't want to be a downer about it. It just sucked.
Cognitive moments come and go, but that wasn't one of 'em. I can deal, the family here can deal...but it's hard on everyone involved, and it's been 3 months now. Everyone is strung out but holding it together, tough to watch and be part of.
I did get my annual visit with Heston in tonight, and I don't expect anyone to really understand that. I do it every year.
Our younger, more feral cat always comes in to look at the chickens, and while she has automatic reactions to the chickens, hasn't tried anything. Our old, almost out to pasture cat came in the room and was like, "Chickens huh? SNATCH!!" Grabbed a sleeping chick by the head and tried to take off, haha! Daughter is going to be pissed in the morning when we tell her.
Good morning.
Pets in the house, livestock outside.
Dogs, cats, tropical birds, fish, hamster, gerbil, guinea pig, some reptiles and amphibians = pets. (all rodents and cold blooded pets stay caged)
Cows, horses, pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, llamas, alpaca, bison = livestock.
Livestock can be pets but they have to stay outside and are subject to being eaten at anytime.
Wife already wants them out because they are messy. Chip is coming, but I wasn't planning on heating it while they're still in the brooder. Wouldn't be a huge deal though.
I think my next car will be a Tesla Model 3. I love driving my mustang (and will probably keep it) but paying for gas all the time is exhaustive.
Why?
I could see getting a Tesla model 3 as a commuter.... I already got a 220v service in the garage so that lowers that cost....
Please don't spew the doesn't pollute garbage. Electric vehicles put more CO2 emissions into the air with their overall production costs (mining precious metals like lithium, etc.) and use lifespan that burning recycled dinosaurs directly in a combustion engine. If you want an electric or hybrid to save yourself gas money, fine, but the green effect is negative.
Wonder what the service life of the batteries is like....I got a friend who does a side business refreshing Prius batteries for way cheaper than the dealer..
When the battery takes a shit....look at about a starting price of $5k to replace it, less the labor and downtime without the vehicle.
The carbon footprint that it takes to charge it isn't free, even if all the clean coal burning power plants are put out of business in order to use much more expensive natural gas.
I'm not happy with my food poisoning experience this evening.
I've had minor food poisoning before, but never like this. It's my own fault too. Feeling better now, but we'll see in the morning. I planned on going to bed like to hours ago until this held me up. Bummer.
What gave it to you?
Some ribs that sat outside at a barbeque all day. I took them home and heated them up, I thought. When I buy into them, they weren't really hot. I didn't think anything of it and continued to eat them. My daughter are the other rack and she is fine.
getting my own place! hope to be moved in by Monday next week.
Best part, I dont have to see another roommates face ever again.
