Wife saw a video with trained ducks and chickens, so now she's trying to train them. To do what, I have no idea.
Trained ducks seems like it has possibilities.

I'm not aware of guard duck training, but perhaps it's something worth looking into. I know that geese can be nasty, maybe ducks can .....fit the bill. Ha ha.
I hear they just don't like new stuff (what animal does?) and make a big racket if someone/something is in your yard.

Those of you who have been aware of the hospice situation I've been part of for some time now, I will say that tonight may very well be the end of that situation.
I expect this to be a very long night, and most likely an emotionally charged one trying to help loved ones cope and deal with the aftermath following. I would only wish the best for any of you if you were dealing with this type of deal, and I'm more than willing to pass along any best wishes to either myself or this family as I believe final approach is very near. As tough as this has been, I can only thank all of those who have helped guide this family during this time, and the family members that have endured and revolved entirely around this process at whatever cost it has been for them personally, I know it's been quite a toll on myself for some time now.
If she goes tonight, God bless her soul, and I'll be here for the rest of them in the best possible way that I can, even if that means staying out of the way....whatever they need me to do.
