Might have to eat some crow if I'm way wrong about my prediction here, but I don't think we're going to have the "widespread Father's Day deluge" that the local weather guessers are harping about.
I'm curious to see what actually happens tomorrow with rainfall.
Getting ready to go to work....napped as much as I could in preparation for a long ass shift
I hope your long ass shift is predominately un-sucky.
:)
Bushwacker, the medium sized smooth, non fake screw pocket model.
Missed my opportunity to get a set of OE Power Wagon flares years ago, now they seem to be tough to find.
ETA: Of course, now when I look again, I'm finding them on fleabay for a little less than I paid for what I bought....
I'm a little concerned with the rubber seal and no double sided tape, but I'll keep an eye on things and re-install if needed.
Want to get the truck cleaned up more before any pics and with the rain today and expected tomorrow, it might be a while.
I've got like 100' of double sized tape (with foam backer) that I got off of Amazon for about $18.
Ummm I think he wants this kind

Good morning and happy Fathers Day.
Another mans shoes.
Some days are tougher for some than they are for others. It's all relative I suppose, yet it's still very real.
I hope all of us have a good week... :)
Did you know that the television remote control was invented by Zenith and sold as a way to avoid watching tv commercials? Which then invented the concept of channel surfing.
Walk like a man
Oh, how you tried to cut me down to size
Tellin' dirty lies to my friends
But my own father said "Give her up, don't bother
The world isn't comin' to an end"
Walk like a man, talk like a man
Walk like a man my son
No woman's worth crawlin' on the earth
So walk like a man, my son
Bye bye baby, I don't-a mean maybe
Gonna get along somehow
Soon you'll be cryin' on account of all your lyin'
Oh yeah, just look who's laughin' now
Walk like a man, fast as I can
Walk like a man from you
I'll tell the world "forget about it, girl"
And walk like a man from you
Looks like someone just realized he'd rather shovel snow than live among scorpions.
Post whore, post whore, whatcha gonna do?
Gotta whore a post and post it for you.

:D
Well, it's still dirty, but I needed to get pics sooner or later. They look better in person, but I'm still not convinced I made the right choice with the relatively (+2) mild tires I have. If the rubber seal pulls out or starts rubbing the paintwork, they're coming off and I'll find a set of factory Power Wagon flares and add tape if needed. No doubt they'll help keep crap off the truck, but they still look kinda goofy IMHO with those size tires/offset.

Brutal still looks pretty good for a truck that has weathered 14 years outside. Never did get the minor hail damage fixed - just don't look at the roof.
Looks good. Offset looks fine.
4 hrs till moving containers arrive
Unknown time frame, til i figure out how the hell i'm going to be able to load every thing i have in to them.
[panic]
Whatever doesn’t fit gets sold for $1?

I'll take that press (hydrolic) for $50 if you still have it and don't want to move it.
Never heard the phrase "Jewish lightning" before. Had to google it. Wow.
I'm in Texas. I'm going to go try some local fare. There is a place called Texas Roadhouse nearby, wish me luck!
Irving is on fire today. And it ain't Jewish lightning!
I wonder if Texas Roadhouse is better in Texas? Cus it's kind of unimpressive here.
Probably the novelty of something other than wolfing down gas station peanuts or BK drive thru fare between stops.
Or eating a homemade sandwich for the 12th time in three days.
It's like an unstudied law of human nature.
Interesting....seems to me that homemade shit or take out/drive through shit is basically the same wherever I go.
Then again, I'm one of those guys that makes five days worth of breakfasts and lunches on Sunday's, and eats the same thing all week. Perhaps I've ruined my taste buds? It works.
eta...and it's economical.
My van isn't the worst, but it's pretty dirty with road warrior status. Long trips usually involve sunflower seeds that inevitably end up on the floor. If I'm feeling really froggy (and am in a large enough town), I'll pick up some cigars for the return trip. Then when I finally get home my mouth is ruined in two different ways, my van reeks and is covered in bugs, birds, and deer, and I feel like an absolute monster just stewing in my hot seat for hours on end.
OBC: I have a distinct memory of a family trip to the east coast and we stopped at a Taco Bell and even at 12 years old I was thinking, "this is the best Taco Bell I've ever had!!!" I think it has something to do with being a bit travel weary and a familiar comfort food hitting the right spot. For the record, I had the Road Kill Diner tonight, and even though it was just chopped steak with onions and mushrooms on top, it was pretty damned good.
Oh yeah, and it is barely raining here, and the power went out for about 10-20 minutes. I thought that was weird.
I don't see anything "off" about those fender flares. Are there stock photos to which we should be comparing?
Zundefolge and I don't agree on many things, but Taco Bell is one of them. I like Taco Bell. It tastes a way that I like and expect. I don't compare it to authentic Mexican because it isn't, but it is good.
Factory Power Wagon flares. His wheels have a lot of offset and IMHO, the wheel style and the white letter BFG's look dorky on that truck.
They're moe stone guard than flare.
