I drive every day

I walked about 100 yards to these grain bins, and didn't bring my ladder. When I got there I saw that the ladder on the right didn't come down very far. Well, I wasn't going to go back and get my ladder since I was already there.

I assume you made the jump?
Both times!
The 4' would be no big deal, the 20'+ height would though.
Well, the 7/12 pitch on a metal roof plays a factor as well. With the eave overhang, the physical gap was probably only 3' 6", but I dare anyone to shimmy down to the very edge just to step across.
The worst part when you're on those things and you're thinking, "I hope this metal is in good shape, at least it's full of corn." Then when you get to the top you see that it's completely empty.
You need to film w/ a GoPro and a fake Russian accent next time.
I wore a Go-Pro on a roof once, and even though it was a partially wet wood shake and I actually slipped, it was pretty boring.
Soft compound soles for steel and ability to mimic metrosexual hop/spring step. should get 125% of your height if point toes and fling arms up.
I was wearing knock-off vibrams today to test them out. The very first roof I got onto, I was sliding all over the place on a slope where that shouldn't happen. After spending most of the day walking around in cow shit, they turned very sticky after that and I'm pretty impressed with them. Today was an exciting day.
-Buried van up to the axles in the lowest part of a cow pasture (which means it was mostly run off cow shit)
-Got to see a cool front-end loader up close! as it pulled my van out of the cow shit.
-Watched a goat fight a calf.
-Had a confrontation with a beautiful barn owl. Which means that I startled it out of its nest and then watched it smash its face into two different windows while I tried to get my phone out, before deciding to just move out of the way before it broke its neck.
-Played Tetris with my aluminum ladder as I navigated a complicated 3D maze of cattle fence and hotwire.
-Parkoured some grain bins.
-Nearly stepped on a litter of six infant rabbits, then stopped to pick them up and take pictures of them for my kid.
On the board for tomorrow is an 80' windmill. I'm thinking about asking if I can climb it. Probably won't happen though.
it's the Group W BENCH.
I don't think a multiple acre bench exists.
Here is a secret. Potato in breakfast burritos sucks. I like them better with beans. I'd settle for hash browns though.
Potato in a breakfast burrito provides just the right amount of spice to the eggs and flour tortilla.
That's pretty much how I feel about Thanksgiving turkey. Might as well be a 22lb, bland potato.
Here is something that's been bothering me for a while. What's up with all this self-deprecating labeling going on? I realize that Snickers has the funny commercials about how you change when you're hungry, and you're probably buying it for the candy and not the label. I really don't get the drink marker ones though. How many people are identifying with such negative self image?

Social marketing to break down the individual to be more easily manipulated.
I make awesome breakfast burritos. Puts Santiagos to shame without a doubt.
If you're not a potato fan, then it would be hard to convince anyone that the potato factor is pretty neato in the breakfast burrito experience. I started out with hash browned taters, but switched to cubes.....and actually like the cubes better, but the hashed were not horrible by any means.
I would consider a high wager that if you consumed one of my burritos, you would..........smack yo mama.
:D
If you were out this way i'd give you some red potatoes out of the garden, to take with you.
We inherited the treasure trove of veggies & fruits with the house. The spouse believes she will be planting lettuce, spinach, 3- 4 varieties of peppers come next spring.
Knowing her garden skill level, i believe the only thing that will actually be growing is .........................................weeds
While i give her shit about her garden skills, at one time her gardens were amazing. Hopefully with her being retired and focused on the property she will have enough growing we can set up at one of the three farmers markets held each week through late october.
Gardening is in my future, and I fully intend to suck at it at first. With some help, I'll get it figured out eventually.
I can't figure anyone that gets it right on the first roll out on an endeavor....[Dunno]
What started my disdain for potatoes in breakfast burritos were places that advertise a $2.00 breakfast burrito and it's just some shit full of potatoes with a little bit of cheese and a 1/2 tsp of ground beef. I have a bit of thing about potatoes in general, having realized that they are just cheap filler in many meals. That said, the same can be said about rice, beans, and noodles, but I much prefer those alternatives. So while I don't hate potatoes like many people hate mushrooms or onions, I'll pick something else given the option. My favorite breakfast burrito is the Chorizo with cheese and substitute potatoes for beans at Big Mama's.
A PVC sprinkler system or drip system that you can easily turn on/off for a prescribed amount of time makes gardening a lot easier.
FTR....those automatic air freshener things that spray every 15 minutes or whatever,..........are creepy as hell.
Might be really good low light target opportunity practice I'm thinking.
