Is stuff drying out? I guess it doesn't make gardening that much easier, but it certainly makes one aspect easier to do on a busy schedule. Weeding and watering is pretty cathartic though.

Good morning.
Ya know....I've been listening to the A line horns all day long at work for a couple years ad nauseam. Now I get to listen the G line at four fucking thirty in the morning on a Sunday.
RTD and NTSB can go right ahead and fuck themselves silly with a giant horse cock in every orifice relentlessly.
..and I think I'll take that auto spray freshener and throw a touch down pass with it into the river behind the house.
"No,...I don't know what happened to it".
Maybe instead of air freshener you could rig that thing up to an air horn. That would make things entertaining. Not to mention keeping your heart well exercised every time it goes off.
You should fight back by keeping a couple of roosters.
One of the things I like about visiting my sister in Cave Creek, Arizona, for Christmas was her tomato plants were still producing.
We would have fresh tomatoes while Denver had feet of snow.
She didn't have time to put a lot of effort into gardening, but they seemed to flourish in the fall and winter when temperatures finally got relatively cool.
I've never seen Trex fail before, but here you go.

Hmm. Seems like having your gutter drain on the porch isn't a good idea.
That's what I initially thought, but since there were three or four of them, I think those might have been defective product and the water certainly isn't helping that really bad one.
Reminds me... need to price out Trex, want to get a deck put in soon
Here is some more awesome hail carnage while we're at it.

This tree got absolutely pummeled.

We've all seen vehicle damage before. This was on a large family farm that must have had 100 vehicles sitting around this farm. The older stuff wasn't as beat up as this new one though.

Hail....not your buddy.
Strong updraft equals high damage unfortunately. It really does seem unfair when mother nature deals you a shit sandwich and a smack in the face at the same time.
When you're young you don't think about it, that whole "at least you have your health" bit is some real damn shit.
I just got done battling a sinus infection that has been kicking my ass for 8 weeks. I was miserable every day...it's unbelievably relieving to be able to breath through my nose again.
I've never been able to breath well through my nose anyway, unfortunately. It's the reason I'm not an astronaut. Plus all the other requirements.
Do they have bingo down there? I'm not big on checkers and that other stuff, but I sure do like bingo.
Well, when the mood hits ya know.
I would add that you would probably have been a really good astronaut, Irving.
I mean, if someone asked me I would say "Yeah, I think he'd be a good astronaut".
Just sayin.
May you one day be interviewed about me.
*For something good.
Ever interact with someone and you think to yourself, "I bet this person has killed someone, or if they haven't already, they will."
I interacted with a lady the other day, and if the police called me and asked a bunch of questions about a murder, I wouldn't even be surprised. "Oh that lady? Yeah, I could see that."
You just described a large percentage of the membership.
j/k
He said "Member"....huh, huh huh.
Good morning troopers, and isn't it a lovely day?

Watched lightening that looked like one of those lasers from a sci-fi movie hit about 1 mile from here. Thing lite up the sky @ 5:45 this afternoon. Monsoon has another 3-4 weeks before it stops. The weather people around here always say there's a 20% chance for rain later today. Nothing like a standard CYA everyday.
120+ lbs of mostly Busch beer cans loaded up and ready to go to recycle. Got $65.12 for it all.

Eeyore was the voice I heard when I read your text after I heard Tigger's: good morning ... lovely day -voice.
I was born at Bisbee Hospital & spent the summers at my Grandmother's house there. I remember watching the lightening with my nose against picture window trying to widen my field of view. I also remember arroyos flooding & the paved streets were water falls (Bisbee proper). Those storms were both beautiful & a little terrifying. However the nighttime storms on the horizon with the unpolluted star filled sky above, were my favorite. I visit Tucson frequently & there have been a few electrical duesies during my trips so now I've a better context when you said: rain @ 4. :)
I have such a difficult time not trolling the chicken forum. Here is an example: https://www.backyardchickens.com/thr...-hens.1265950/
There are a lot of gun friendly people on that website though: https://www.backyardchickens.com/thr...ch-it.1265675/
Doesn't matter now, does it?! https://www.backyardchickens.com/thr...lized.1265925/

"Chicken......it's what's for dinner"
I've a better context when you said: rain @ 4.
There's something familiar about you.
Speaking of dinner, I had some shrimp and vegetables off the barbecue for dinner tonight, it was delicious.
I also have a bitch to pitch about installing microwave ovens in a 36" opening. While the instruction template was ultimately confusing and significantly retarded to try and figure out.....I did manage to get the goliath pile of shit hung, but after all the effort and best intent.....I blew the vertical distance from the plate hooks to the support screw shelf by a 1/4 inch. Everything else was dead on right but I miscalculated some bracket hook dynamic unfamiliar to me.
I'll get it sexy and right tomorrow.
Oh yes, sexy and right.
:)
There's some WIN right there, brother.
Start painting yet?
Yes.
Microwave installation update:......sexy and complete was most certainly achieved. :)
I'm still orchestrating the fit and finish of the fabricated upper cabinet I had to make, and the power outlet I had to relocate. I need to hit a hardware store in the morning and try to find a suitable stain color to match the existing cabinetry and advance to...Sexy, Right, and Two Whore Snaps Up.
ha ha.
