Great show.
Long day. More to come.
ETA: Not "more to come" as in there is more to the story, just that there are more days.
Whoops.

For C.Norris, as there is a squirrel in this picture.

Crawled half way in here until I realized I was at the wrong address.

After a dude busted out a brand new pair of $200 muck boots for me to borrow (actually opened the box to give them to me) I went straight to Wal-Mart and bought these boot shaped Styrofoam cups for $20. I certainly don't need to be swamping my shoes every single day before my two hour drive home.

I see this guy every night. We hang out.

Ick
palmetto bug
Ahhh, that's the Palmetto bug reference. Is that slang for cockroach? Because that's what I *thought that was.
*I had never seen a cockroach in the wild until I was 30 years old.
Bob, long story short, what happened to the van doors was a combination of me being in a rush, and parking in a different spot than I'd parked every other night. So when I went to back out, I just did what I usually do, only this time I did it right into a concrete pillar. I can't wait to listen to the extra wind noise for the next few months.
Palmetto bug = cockroach. That one particularly is an oriental cockroach, based on the picture.
I'm scheduled out through the 26th and only have my place through the 31st. The days are already starting to run together and it's only been a few so far. I still have another 12 to schedule and get more every day.
Some bugs are neato.
If things continue at this pace I'll definitely be able to build a cushion, so to speak.
Do you know the muffin man
Who lives on Drury Lane?
Speaking of streets names, Debi Rd seems to be very...panhandly to me.
Apparently, when someone ran out of names and tried to make Lazy Suzzane Pl, the city board finessed the suggestion and came up with Suzzanne Lake Rd. I want to buy some property out here. This is perfect for AirBnB.
I've got damage pictures from today, but the hotel WiFi is down so I can't post them now. As long as you guys aren't bored, I'll continue to pick something interesting each day for you.
Where are all the gator pics ?
I've been asking around, and people are like, "You could go to the zoo?" I can't be professional and say, "I don't mean behind a fucking gate!" at the same time. One guy told me about a nature preserve, but made it clear that because of dumb tourists, if I get caught off the path I'll go to jail.
What's killing me right now is all the damn bug bites. I need to get some Off! and start wearing my longer socks. I could hardly sleep last night, and it's starting again now. Weird how the bites only bug me at night.
Yep. I see the little bastard.
Thanks Irving
Speaking of streets names...
Have you ever heard of taking a first name from your first pet, and using the name of the first street you grew up on to formulate your *porn star* name?
Mine would be Fred Tejon.

This is standing outside the house, looking into the house through the knocked down wall, through the missing ceiling, through the missing roof, back to outside the house (tarp).

Tolky Dutchess. Ick, that's awful.
My second pet & third street... what do you think ?
Indigo Holman.
Cassie White.... i'm not even a girl
Is this one of those social media tricks like, "If your Social Security number was your bank account, post how much money you'd have!"
I feel like both of those answers are security questions for various financial institutions.
I guaranty right now, that I could create an Ad-lib paragraph, and for each blank put a suggestion of security phrases (mother's maiden name, city you met your spouse, youngest siblings name, etc) and people would fill that out without hesitation.
******I know that this first street + first pet = stripper name is an old thing and was before security questions.********
If I had a Facebook troll account though, I'd totally do that Adlib thing.
Remedial passcodes are a no no. I'm very thorough & always have been.
Max Vickers -- I never use real answers for "feel good security"
I used to use just my general password for all the answer to those security questions for all questions, all sites. Made it super easy and avoided the personal knowledge stuff. But those days are long gone and you can't use the same answer anymore.
Yeah, I've had them okay me on passcodes for accounts that aren't mine more than once.
