There was a time when a large EMS provider here in town used cell phones to dispatch emergent calls.

Well, he probably won't be storing them in a laundry basket or something.
Ah yes, but when the tires are so big that washboard is a non factor, it's a Cadillac ride my friend. ;)
40 east bound coming through Kingman to Ash Fork as the sun is setting, looks like western WY, UT, ID or northern CO. Same damn landscape, beautiful. Traffic on a saturday night consisted of 4 vehicles, 3 of them going the other way. All good on a 1200 mile week of driving till..............
I'm maybe 4 car lengths from a single lane traffic circle. when some fuktatd decides to pass me, as in what the fuk is this moron doing about 1" from my mirror, passing. Coming in bumper close as a NB car slides to the shoulder to avoid a head on.
Holy crap, Kazoo....I'm definitely happy to hear that you did not have an unpleasant vehicular episode.
Pic link attempt coming soon.
I saw something at Home Depot for a night shift stocking shelves. Everyone keeps telling me that UPS and USPS have night shifts that pay a lot. I think I'm less likely to use a discount at USPS than I am at Home Depot.
This pic thing is such bullshit.
I cant see either pic fellas.
Fail
This truck sounds bad ass.... too bad we can't see it
The frustration level I'm experiencing trying to get this shit to work is significant. But, I am still trying.
I worked part time at UPS overnights during my freshman year of college back in the ‘80s. Really good money at the time, I wanna say $15/hr back when minimum wage was $3.35. I loaded tractor trailers for 5 hours a night. It was fast, jamming work and the shifts flew by. Slept like a baby after my shift. Probably explains (partly) why my grades plummeted, and the next year I was in the Marines instead of college. I really liked the work for some reason. My wife just started a seasonal overnight warehouse job at Amazon, and similar to UPS, it’s quick physical work that is ultimately kinda fun. If my aging carcass would stand up to that sort of work, I’d be tempted to do it again. I’ve heard bad things about the way HD treats employees, but it’s probably not a tough job to walk away from if you didn’t like it.
I'm sleepy...
I looked at a rifle today and passed on it, ruger American. I might be sick or just sleepy
Hehehe
Need a lullaby ?
I worked for UPS a long while back. Good money. Union.
Link worked
Nice looking truck.... is leaf spring front end kinda bouncy?
Amazeballs
Nice!
Thank you.....right now it is, I haven't gotten shocks for it yet. It only goes from one building to another on the same lot currently.
Good night
I fold too. Night folks!
Goodnight Wyome and Chick.
Thanks to the unexpected nap, I am watching knife reviews on youtube.
Truck looks less ridiculously when not taken from the ground.
I'm in the unique position of not exactly needing a second job, so I'm not as worried about treatment. As mentioned, I'll walk if something sucks. How bad can part time hours be though?
On another note, I've never had a union job, and generally have a distaste for unions as a general concept. Change my mind.
Non union fan camp here.
