I want a socom556-mini2 for my rifle.
I'm getting close to the point where I don't think I really need more guns. It really helps that I can't fit everything in my tiny locker anymore anyway. Plus, I've never had any nice/usable accessories, so I'll likely focus on that stuff for a while.
I have all the stuff to reload for .308, .300blk, and .223, but just haven't jumped in yet. I really need to do that as I'd really like to up my rifle game in the very near future.
I'm putting it onto my Savage Axis .308, .300 blk pistol, and I've got a few .223 ARs that I'd like to start shooting as well.
Since we haven't submitted for this exact can yet, I'm going to see what my options are for getting the newest version, which is the QD version. I was being obstinate about having a serviceable can, but now that I've had a few days to actually do some research and familiarize myself with what I'm getting into, I'd prefer the new QD version. The new versions of this can are non-serviceable, kind of. The directions for cleaning are to soak for 24-48 hours, then just shoot all the gunk out. Since it is a flow through design, everything just blows out the front.

Exactly. I was thinking I might get to enjoy it next fall if I buy it now.
I should draw for antelope next year, and now that I know how easy it is to get an OTC rifle tag for elk, I'd like to do that again as well. Hopefully the big one comes in by that time next year. I think it should.
Now that I've watched a bunch of videos, I'm interested to see how this can runs on my AR rifles. I've never shot a suppressed AR so I have no comparison for blow back experience, but I'm eager to check it out. I wonder why that mini costs so much. I bet it's cheaper through dealers.
I've seen zero references to blow back with this style can. I've seen some stuff about it not being as quiet as others though. The more I read, the more I learn about all the changes that have been made and even more strongly want the newest one.
Gas buster charging handle will help somewhat. But yeah, eye pro is your friend (which it is anyway).
Hi folks
Mrwhiterabbit?
Naw man, Dave's not home.
Down the rabbit hole and all that.
I see.
Learned a new saying / word phrase the other (Arizona Pinstripes) day when i commented to a truck owner i liked his 2 tone bed liner paint job. He said it was either bed liner it or live with the Arizona Pinstripes scene he had underneath.
AZ pinstripes? Yeah you go off road more than once, or have friends who don't trim back their driveways, you'll get them too.
That's a thing in every off road community.
Down the street neighbor just delivered MY FREAKING SUPPRESSOR. That USPS left at the wrong address after it came back from repair work. Sheesh.
Talk about blow back.
Apparently I need more sleep. I just got my passport photos and I look like a criminal drug addict.
No clue.
Ive had regulated items with customs & explosives labels mis-delivered to my neighbor. Bit unnerving.
Did you submit for some goodies? Or some other purpose?
Scored an unused-as-far-as-I-can-tell $170 archery release (T.R.U. Ball Boss-x) for $27 inc/tax from the pawn shop. What a score.
Whoot!
Howdy.
Got the drop receiver today and partially installed. Still need to drill four of six holes and do some welding on it. Looks pretty good and is gonna be strong as shit.
Need to do some painting, and going to try and jump into rifle reloading this winter.
I get neighbors stuff all the time...never crossed my mind to look and see what they got...just look at the address, and then walk it over...I must be missing out on some good loot
This..^^^^ You don't open shit that doesn't belong to you. Read the package before you open it, and if it ain't you, give it back to the delivery folks..... or take it where it was supposed to go.
I exercised this practice many times. Respect for someone else's property.
I feel like with respect to non-gun purple, a suppressor only looks like a suppressor in the context of being attached to a gun.
As far as I can tell, the neighbor didn't open the package. Looked to be original tape job.
Looked at the tracking number (which I had not received to track). No signature was required, or at least if it was the glorious USPS didn't attempt one.
It wasn't even a transposed address issue. It was just straight up delivered incorrectly.
Hiya Folks
Tap tap tap...
Not even a cricket. Dang.
Nighty night
The hitch is ready for welding and probably get that done tomorrow sometime. Ground, but airborne powder coat tastes unpleasant for certain. I can say that Curt hitch products are powder coated well, I had to work at getting it off.
I thought about painting the whole thing when I'm finished with it, but I think I'll wait to get the bumper back and see how well they did it. If they did a great job on the bumper, I'll probably just send the hitch and the custom nerf bars (next project) out to them and get 'em done proper.
