If and when it arrives. OPlanet is like the bargain bin of online shopping, it never tells you when it will be delivered. Only that your order was placed, maybe . They had a deal on something everyone else was $80ish higher, placed order.
2 days later receive notice. You item is scheduled for delivery in
6-8 weeks
Whoa, got this in the mail today. Looks pretty official. Guess who's getting a great deal on a loan?!

I pre-approve you for hand sanitizer. That envelope looks disgusting.
I was thinking that as I posted the photo. Keeping animal hair out of anything in our house is a lost cause.
I can buy replacement parts for our microwave for around $170 or buy a new one for just a bit more. It is an over the range set-up, which I'm not looking forward to installing. What do you think?
Fix it and keep on moving!
New ones are easy to install as long as you dont need to make the opening in the cabinet wider
I can actually buy a new one for about the same price since what I have now isn't a fancy model to begin with. I'm a big fan of fixing stuff, but even if I pick something up for $200, that's also removing all the built up grease that is impossible to clean from my use, and the people who had it before us.
Hmmmm....
I think you know your answer. You're replacing one part, I assume? If cost = same, why fix?
Three parts, but I agree.
What parts would be left to replace which likely would go out in the future?
What is the end of life on parts if you buy new (i.e., when can you expect any replaceable part to fail?)?
What is more likely to last longer: the repaired or the new?
Quick question, are the saw blade and guard supposed to overlap like that?

Regarding the microwave. Unless it's a non electrical part, there's a few high voltage areas that could light you up. But hey, you're meticulous so no problem .
It's just a plastic grill, the glass plate, and the plastic track that supports the plate. Those things shouldn't cost anywhere near that much.
ebay?
That's not a bad idea. I always forget about eBay.
RE: that saw, we almost had a "Don't duct tape your saw guard out of the way" PSA the other day.
I definitely should have just used my radial arm saw.
Saws can be dangerous...M'kay?
Quick local news story I saw less than 30 minutes ago.
Story, fracking near school (minimum distances etc)
Mom and kids playing at school playground bitching about fracking near schools....
Some other "school official lady" flapping off about "kid safety, environment blah blah".
Back to Mom playing with the kids, it's getting dark and they want to go home now cause it's getting pretty cold.
Closing scene is Mom saying "Lets go home and turn on the fireplace". WTF?
Sounds like they're fixing to walk home and click the on the GAS fireplace when they walk in the door. GFY.
Well, I'll tell you what I think happened. I was cutting up a cherry tree to use for my smoker and I had the guard taped back so I could just plunge cut over and over. I was holding the tree with one hand and the saw with the other. I was getting confident and going fast and I think that I put enough lateral pressure onto the saw that the blade flexed into the guard.

Everyone i've ever heard bitch about O&G i ask this question. Which usually shuts them up.
I agree we should stop all fracking. Right after everyone here has their vehicle towed to the scrap yard and you walk home.
Nobody needs an assault weapon. You're right, nobody needs a SUV. Try walking or better birth control ;)
Night folks
Night Chick!

Is it normal for me to not be able to find info about which model of comp or brake to get for my can? Are the proprietary comps/brakes for QD suppressors not really ever tested?
Itz a conspiracy
Found an hour long video of testing 44 different brakes/comps. None are what I'll be getting. Ultimately it won't matter because I have zero experience with anything beyond an A2 flash hider, and I'll have the can by then anyway. Plus, I'll find out first hand when I install everything myself.
Morning folks
Get lightweight brakes.
"This brake has 1lb of less force! I"ve measured it.
You should try it!"
Because it weighs about 1/3 )lbs at the end of the barrel....
Proprietary brakes for the can so it doesn't really matter. There are a few different choices though. OSS Helix 762 is the can. I've got a year to figure it out.
Rain in Tucson in December. Weird.
