That's an Audi though, with a max torque spec of approximately 12ft/lbs across the whole car... :D
I have an electric 1/2" impact that does well for most stuff, but I still have to get my air impact out on occasion when the electric doesn't have the balls... For most people with a 1/2 ton truck or smaller, electric will be just fine.
My sights from Knights are here. I might have already mentioned that they machined me a replacement set because they don't sell/make the old style anymore. That was nice of them (& lmt). Yay
I think its a bit of joy to hear 800 blows per minute. : )
But I sometimes see/hear things differently.
Have to ask... anyone ever see or hear from DSBoutdoors? I understand he hasn't really been around for a few years but even without him posting, he had a presence in near everyone's profile. After the host server changed, so did his avatar & I noticed. Just curious.
Two weeks since Ive seen a squirrel in my tree... noticed that too.

Just finished a 4 mile run, enjoying the infrared sauna now!
Yay saunas!
I looked at a house in Tucson last week.
It had a sauna.
Weird.
Saunas are great, and if anyone is looking for a new gym, I HIGHLY recommend Chuze, I've been here for about 2 months now, after a few years at 24hr, and this place is awesome (that's coming from someone that spent about 5 years going to Lifetime fitness).
Hopefully I'll be looking at houses in Tucson in 6 months or so, Rancho Sahuarita to be specific.
The daughter is in town from CA. Asked if we could turn the heat up, seems 65 is too cold for her
Kazoo... you are the king of non sequitur!
Is it good to be king?
Yeah yeah, maybe a little...
Speaking of non sequiturs...Did they pour it?
Did i miss an update?
Yes, I've been hearing from vendors and friends that a lot of shops are primarily electric for about a year or two now. We have to have the air for the lifts for sure, and we still use Nitro Cat impacts for wheels and most heavier work, spring work and shit like that. All of us have and use electric screw guns and 3/8ths impacts for everything else.
Having enough batteries charged for them is just about the same level of pain in the ass as dragging the air hose around for all the stuff you're doing, so it's kind of a wash in the long run really.….if you're using the hell out of them all day long. The batteries are strong when new, but weaken rapidly on heavier jobs over time....and they are stupid expensive to replace more often than not...at least in my experience.
Don't you just have a charger or two with a battery always in it? That's what I do. I've got two chargers (used to have three) so I can run hard (for a homeowner) all day if I need.
Well, I do, and I also have several tools that use the same battery size. If two of them drop out on the same day, I can't use one of 'em until the next day unless I steal a battery from another and so on. I don't want to spend the money for six batteries and three chargers. Sucks if more than one cycles weak or stops taking a charge at the same time...$.
Understand. These guys are working in pristine shops, using single post hydraulic lifts and making sure they don't break a nail.
LOL. In all honesty, son's a team lead and rarely turns wrenches in the shop anymore. Guessing he still has a monthly tool truck nut for a while nonetheless.
Guys at shops likely aren't buying multiple tools that come with batteries and chargers like me either.
There are no chargers like you Irving.
Okay, so I had to replace the towel rack in wife's bathroom. This bathroom is in need of remodeling and there have been enough towel racks installed since the 1960's that mounting options were limited. I informed her that I was going to put the new towel rack directly over the toilet paper holder, and would buy her one of those weighted stands so the toilet paper could be anywhere. Then Home Depot didn't have that toilet paper stand, so I thought of another solution. The Christmas party is tomorrow night. This is a test to see how much she loses her shit when she sees it. Obviously I'll tell her that I saw it on Pintrest. Snicker.

I'm sure Bed, Bath, and Beyond has what I was thinking of, so I'll just grab one tomorrow on another store trip.
She laughed and said it was funny and makes her feel like a cat. I don't even know how to react.
Put bells on it
Awesome license plate. Terrible pic. Sorry
Detain Nate.
Hahahahha
I tried to suppress a chuckle at that TP dispenser (so as not to wake the wife), but that only triggered a coughing fit that did wake her. I guess you could count that as a win.
