I have an amalgam of new & salvaged bearings among other machine parts (heat sinks, medical devices etc.) that i have on display because i find them lovely to look at. But I also have a 5' Wizard gumball machine, a table made from Norwegian beach driftwood, a Nimitz class aircraft carrier model toy, a coconut on a pedestal, 10' high powered rocket that's gone mach & been to 26k ft & 300yo S. American misc. wood doors in my living room.... so there's no accounting for my taste.

Been a rough week + the holiday factors.
Ed crashed in the kitchen x-mas night. He's okay besides his ego, but he broke the knob off the 39 year old dishwasher in the process. NObody has that part, and machine needs replaced right away, seems he dirties dishes at the rate of three people. I laid out all the chips on the table to a big boss yesterday, appears to have gone well...I'm still employed. Today I had some metal bounce off my eye, thank goodness it didn't stick there. Really need to just get through this new year business and get stuff back to normal...again, holidays in the middle of the week back to back really screws up routines/continuity.
