That was in reference to his wife handing him a bottle of Malox in the middle of the night that he then poured all over himself in his bed.
Of course I did!

Regular BMW is easier (and less $) to work on. Just don't get M3/4/5/6, unless you are master DIY. On top of that, the Firearm $$ will be allocated to car maintenance cost.
If you google "Code 2B15 and 2B57" you will get m3post DIY page on top(which i am very active on). Most common issues with the N/A M V8 S65 engines.

Wait till you hear how much it cost to replace carbon Ceramic Brake pad/rotor on Nissan GTR and BMW M3/4.
[LOL]
Good morning folks
I didn't join for the trading post so it's kismet.
Sun's coming up, i'm looking down and not up at the ground. It is a good morn'n
In retrospect the TP wanted section has been good to me. Maybe I'll go that route for my wish list...
You're silly. : D
Greedy & covetous cookie giving, alley plowing, house sitting, I'm going to the store can I pick up anything for you neighbor.... heretic. Yep.
Nothing like finding things you were looking at buying for home improvements. Listed in the Free section of CL and the one listing it actually returns your inquiry.
I used to give away building materials on CL all the time. Reminds me I've got 1/2 roll of blue pex that needs to go...
What diameter is the blue pex? If I can use that as extra, just in case, material for that travel trailer, I'll come take it off your hands.
Are you selling it or giving it away? When and where can I come get that?
I'll wait till you get within 500, then roger ramjet your numbers
Or maybe 450, who knows?
Proverbs 17:27 (NKJV)
He who has knowledge spares his words,
And a man of understanding is of a calm spirit.
Just think of all the things I don't talk about on here. A real wealth of knowledge.
Finding someone in Denver who can bend larger diameter tubing is kinda futile. Going interstate now, thanks,.....found an outfit in Illinois might be the one to get it done, but that isn't a YES yet... wtf is the problem? I see bike racks bolted to the sidewalk that look pretty damn near what I want done. Again, wtf?
I can't even get some of the bigger companies here to even call me back, because they apparently don't answer their phones or return messages.
I should start searching bike "racks bolted to the sidewalk" companies, and just modify it. Grrrrr.
I can still use the tube I bought for something productive. Homemade cannon barrels or something cool like that.
Is this something that is too thick to just buy a pipe bender from Home Depot or something?
Yeah, even at 1/8 wall the radius for a 90 would take four feet of linear distance with places here in town. Tight 90 needs heat induction or hacking multiple 45's still using heat. Nobody it seems here, has any dies for 3.5 O.D. that can do a tighter 90. The Chicago outfit, who answers their phone and wants business, said they thought they could bend that schedule 40 tight and wanted drawings. So, somebody out of state wants to help bend tight 1/4 wall at 3.5 O.D. and "is trying" ...nobody here can do either apparently.
There's zero chance for me to try and use what I bought to make something that doesn't look like shit when it's finished. Shitty part is I told the guy at the tube store that it's no good buying it if nobody in town could bend it, and he said....this place "x" can....so I bought the material. It's a fuck show all around.
I will find somebody that can do what I want, but because I don't want crap, I will pay the price and it's gonna take a lot longer to get it. I know when it's finished, it will have been done the right way.
...and then get them powder coated after I put it together.
What is the tube for again? How much of the bent part will be visible? I'm surprised the muffler shops balked on you seeing as how mandrel bends seems to be part of their business.
There's a local tool bending machine parts maker (a client of mine) that might actually be able to do it, I could call them and inquire if you like? I have a super relationship with the owner. He's a "good guy" too. They may only do smaller stuff, but it's worth a call. He may also know who could possibly do it if they don't.
Ahh okay, for some reason I thought you were still messing with a shifter or running some type of non structural conduit or something. 4x4 shops that custom make sliders aren't interested in helping you?
OBC have you hit up Timelement? Dude is a great guy and most likely to be able to help you because the custom car thing is that guys life.
