Finding someone in Denver who can bend larger diameter tubing is kinda futile. Yeah, even at 1/8 wall the radius for a 90 would take four feet of linear distance with places here in town. Tight 90 needs heat induction or hacking multiple 45's still using heat. Nobody it seems here, has any dies for 3.5 O.D. that can do a tighter 90. The Chicago outfit, who answers their phone and wants business, said they thought they could bend that schedule 40 tight and wanted drawings. So, somebody out of state wants to help bend tight 1/4 wall at 3.5 O.D. and "is trying" ...nobody here can do either apparently.Quote:

What is the tube for again? How much of the bent part will be visible? I'm surprised the muffler shops balked on you seeing as how mandrel bends seems to be part of their business.
