It definitely has a "grass" feel to it. Reduce the amount of kale and throw some jalapeƱo in there. Much better.

Well, this Winter I gained 20 pounds on the raw steak and Irish Coffee diet . . . all in my gut . . . and it has been a bitch to take it off, even with the protein supplements and increasing sets and reps. So, after reading this thread I've been having a pint juice at Whole Foods every morning this week and switched from red meat to ground turkey breast. Dropped nearly 5 pounds without fasting.
So I started today. I went the Jer route got some Bolthouse and some Naked from Wal-Mart until I get a Juicer.
Im 6'4" and im at 310 I would like to be 225 .....here we go
Naked juice is stupid expensive every where but bulk stores like Costco (and probably Walmart). What I mean is, what Star Bucks charges for a tiny bottle of Naked Juice is the same as the large bottle at Costco.
believe it or not if you sit and do the calculations, and shop the naked sales and such, juicing yourself comes out pretty damn close in terms of cost. you have to buy the bulk naked bottles but its shocking how close it gets. the juice diet isn't dirt cheap.
however, naked drinks are meant and devleped to be tastier, but also less healthy. in general they use quite a bit less vegetables and quite a bit more fruit.
Try something else man. There's lots of things you can do and I've done a few now and some are meh and some are really good. Start off with a few simple things that have few ingredients that you know you like and then expand from there. Taking notes will make it easier to recreate or avoid making the same mistakes. The skittles recipe that Spidey posted earlier is good to go and much sweeter than those green style ones. I also made the 2nd Spicy V8 recipe I posted and it was alright. Not amazing. I think it needed more tomato but that's part of this process... trial and error.
Quick question.
Is it normal to feel dizzy? It's started today.
Nice! Giddy up!!
Exactly.
I don't know about that. Compare the labels and Bolthouse Farms also seems to have a LOT more vitamins & nutrients. That's the important part while on this diet. Hell, it seemed to work pretty damn good for me. I also felt it tasted better and if you're going to stick with it that's also something important for most people. If the juice is super healthy but you can't stand it and last only a week as a result then what good was it?
