I don't know of this craziness you are talking about. I'm defending cell phones as it pertains to taking a few pics, and filming a few vids. No idea why you quoted my post and took it off into some wild cell phone party, where everyone is acting like a "twat".

I'm not defending wild crowds and rude people as you seem to think I am (I even referenced to loathing crowds a few posts back). I don't do concerts and I don't do sporting events, I'm a lame 32 year old, with a wife and 2 kids under the age of 3, but best believe, if I attended these events I'd be creating memories with my cell phone, while being considerate to those around me.

The last concert I went to, which was the first in maybe ten years, I spent more time watching how many people were holding their cell phones up than I spent watching the band perform. I've realized that I take a TON of pictures on my phone, but only to post them on here. After that, unless it's something that I can show to people over and over (like the first buck I shot), I never look at them again.

I've gotten to the point that unless it's for a purpose, selling something, sending something funny, etc I really don't take pictures anymore.
