Shot the best I ever have today, by a wide margin, and still missed Sharp Shooter by 10 seconds. I don't know how you guys do it. Anyway, match was well run and I'm glad everything went without a hitch (rain/wind).
Now that I have Saturdays off, I really need to try and start getting into some matches (I've never participated).
This was the first match (of any type) I have shot in over fifteen years. Pretty disappointed in my performance. Oh, well. Still had fun. Looking forward to the results to see how I did.
Nice to finally meet you a Ray.
Irving, it is easy...shoot a lot of -0s...really fast. The first classifier I shot, it was kind of important to me, and I did not do well, shot SS. The second time, I did not care and shot Master. Caring has something to do with the mental. It keeps us from performing the fundamentals the way we are used to because we are amped up and we short out our own internal circuitry.
Ray, glad you had fun. That is what it is really all about anyway.
I wish I had taken a picture of my near zero target at 20 yards, on the weak side. 9 out of 10 in the zero ring, and the 10th shot dropped completely off the target. Talk about a face palm. Anyway, that target had a better group than the one I shot off a bag while I was testing the load.
I'm sure a quick search would yield results, but how many rounds do ya'll go through during a match?
