Agreed, I felt like I wasted my money on that one.

Has anyone seen the Obama's America 2016 movie? Looks likes it's open in a few theaters in the Springs and one in Pueblo so far?

Expendables II this weekend, booyah!
I'm looking forward to this one too, which comes out next weekend.
The Last Stand

Just bought "Hunger Games" man this movie sucks.
Watched it a couple weeks ago with my brother and dad, I liked it, and now I wanna read the books. Can't wait for the next movie next year to come out!

Saw Expendibles 2 over the weekend, was a fun movie. Lot of action and puns.
Saw ParaNorman with the wife and boy.
I actually hate 3D movies.....this one was no different!
Dont pay extra to see anything spectacular.
Plot was more suited for an October release.
Oh, Spoiler! The fat kids brother, the muscle bound guy with no interest in the wide hipped sister, WAS GAY!
Another Gay character slipped in to give the impression Homosexuality is OK![Rant1]
Dont waste your time on this film.
Redtails was a good WW2 movie. Too bad Lucas didn't remake Boyington's Black Sheep, per the REAL Pappy. It would also have been 'multicultural' as Pappy was part American Indian. Lucas lost $ or just broke even on it, too bad, now NO ONE will do a decent WW2 Pacific movie! Putting White men in the role of Hero is taboo in Jollywood anyway.
I Just got done watching a chic flick with my wife titled "Lucky One". If y'all like that sort of thing you should check it out. Done fairly well and interesting for a "chic flick".
Yeah, yeah, flame suit on.
If you get flamed for anything, it should be for posting about a movie outside of the movie thread. [cheers]
Because it's not big, nor is it bold... and this isn't as active as the Funny Pictures or Funny Videos threads... [Beer]
It's okay, no bear is perfect... [Coffee]

Watched (most of) The Iron Lady this weekend. Really terrible. I fully expected it to focus on Thatcher's political career. Instead, the majority of the film was a journey through her battle with senility, with bits and pieces of her political career thrown in as flashbacks. We couldn't make it all the way through it.
If not already mentioned, Baraka is one of the better movies I've seen. Additionally, the creators have made a new one (Samsara, opens in Denver on 9/7) that should be to the likings of those that enjoyed Baraka.
Just finished watching "In Time" with Justin Timberlake on HBO. I really wanted to see that movie. I was disappointed because it is just a movie that incorrectly riles up poor people against banks and the rich.
If you enjoyed "Falling Down", this is up your alley!

Watched ths last night. Ddn't gve me much new information, but it did put some things in perspective. I have a better understanding of who & what Barrack Obama is. I don't like him any better, in fact, I distrst him even more.
The movie is only good as a supplement to the book. Since the book is in "first person" perspective, all of the detail that made the book so amazing couldn't translate to the movie without making it 6 hours long. Read the book, you'll love it.
The first book is Fantastic. It took me about 30 pages to get into the groove of the writers style, but once I did I found the story very compelling. The second book was good, but not quite as good as the first. The third book took some liberties that I disagreed with and it seemed like the writer was rushing things to wrap up the story - especially at the very end. I found the third book disappointing.
I saw "Trouble With the Curve" this weekend, and really liked it. Clint Eastwood sure has changed the tone of his movies over the last few years and I, for one, like it.
He kinda of deals with growing older and how our lives affect our kids.
Just got through watching The Good, The Bad and The Weird again. Pretty fun Asian spaghetti western.
Haven't seen anything lately that was worth finishing.
Taken 2 is out today! WOOHOO! I might have to go see that tonight! [Beer]
Check out where Baraka got it's inspiration.
Koyaanisqatsi
Powaqqatsi
Naqoyqatsi
Great visuals.
Just got done with Moonrise Kingdom, twice. Another Wes Anderson classic.

Just saw Alex Cross....pretty good movie, super predictable thought...or at least I thought.
It served its purpose though...it was amusing.
And one hell of a Commercial Advertisement for Cadillac/GM
A move about a black detective used to sell Cadillacs?

Saw Taken 2 yesterday, not as good as the first, but still a pretty damn good action flick! Here's my review:

Watched "Under Hill 60" on Netflix last night. Pretty good movie on WWI trench warfare and tunneling under the Germans.
Saw "Cloud Atlas."
Very strange. Trailer misrepresents in big way. This film was interesting to watch, but it was made for those who read (and liked) the book and not many others. To me it was like a mixture of Blade Runner, Matrix and Polar Express. Wife hated it. Wait for Redbox.
Skyfall was good. Lots of homages to the old Bond movies since it's the 50th anniversary.
woke up with the thought that i should watch 3 kings again
Red Dawn was pure, American, patriotic, bad-assery.
In my opinion, far superior to the original, and gosh dang it I wish it would have come out 3 weeks before the election.
WOLVERINES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The original was good, but it was full of a pu**ies. This one was full of a bunch of bad asses.
