Looks good. Are you going to have a ceiling with attic access, or leave it open and just put long stuff between joists?

throw some 3/4 osb between 2 of the 4' trusses. Running 24' on each side, then 4x8 osb, painted white for interior walls.
One of the neighbors when he asked what i was doing for work space. I told him CL for take off kitchen cabinets.
He says. Oh no i build you cabinets, just pay for materials. Well if you insist.
Depends if i want to go with cabinets, or line the walls with shelves like the CO shop was.
I'm curious if the fire resistance of drywall outweighs the cost savings over OSB. Also, if local code (anywhere) requires drywall in garages/shops for fire resistance. You'd think that'd be something I'd know.
Unfortunately drywall isn't up to the task of mounting shelves to, or securing work benches. Remember it's a detached garage, not attached. So certain building codes are not in play.
Once the structure is up and signed off, it's none of anyone's business how things are done in the garage, or workshop. AS long as utilities are to code..
I was asked on the permit application if there was going to be water / plumbing ran to the building. Of course not.
This is where your local code, comes in to play.
IF i were to run a water line. Then it's considered a dwelling / living space. That's where building / fire codes are adhered to
I'm not trying to convince you one way or the other, I'm just curious. I think OSB used to be cheaper than drywall and was probably the way to go. Agree that it's probably easier to hang stuff with OSB.
Watching some old ass Newleywed Game vidoes on youtube.
Eubanks really was a great host, and the show really did have a lot of funny shit in it. If I could get a boxed set of all the Eubanks episodes, I'd buy it right now. Hilarious.
In that case, once you have the siding on, you should insulate between the walls with play sand.
Night
Wait a minute...is play sand different than regular, or beach sand?
Nope, just what is called when you buy it.
Beach sand is kinda play sand, or is that regular sand that people can play with? Which makes it play sand again, but it was from the beach. Regular sand might be what's in an hourglass, but if you were playing while the hourglass was operating, does that make it play sand at that point? Dizzyingly, Which sand IS the correct sand for playing in, or time keeping, or just regular?
Seemingly a deeper subject than one might suppose.
So the official ruling is just...……..sand.
Okay.
Been a hard day,
Thanks Irving and all, have a great rest of the night, and hope everyone has a good Tuesday.

Today was alright as far as work, but now I get to leave at 4:30am for Wyoming tomorrow.
Back for a day, then off to the Canadian Border for a weekish...
I'm sort of getting tired of traveling again...
Where in Wyoming?
North of Douglas.
I lived in Douglas a long while back.
