If it was just me or if there was a reasonable expectation that I would survive, then I'd agree with you, however...

I'm not at all comfortable with the confluence of idiots that lack muzzle discipline in said scenario. All five times I've knowingly had a random 'person' give me concern directly & firsthand to my bodily person, all have been in supposedly controlled & static shooting conditions while indoors & on a weekend, a holiday or both. On two of these (different & unrelated) occasions, the firearm needed to be physically secured from (different & unrelated) persons because it was THAT dire. Once @ Blucore where I have my membership & the other 4 @ ranges in the metro & COS.

There is NO EXCUSE for that, NOT EVER.

No f*ing thanks. I don't care to die today, not like that.

Everything is mostly out of your control in general life anyways. You could do the best job making a nitroglycerine suitcase bomb in your basement, but then get hit by an Uber driver high on bath salt....and die in the street.

I don't really worry about that stuff much anymore. It's coming anyways, doesn't really matter how.

Yea we did a little running around today too. I needed to pick up a drill and my wonderful Mrs Mazin aka sugar momma got me a harbor freight 8" drill press so I'm assembling that now.
