I loved watching Obummers statement about this event. He gave due recognition to the military and Spec Op's folks but then mentioned how he had consulted his Intel team then after that it was all "I" this and "I" that ("I decided there was enough evidence to proceed...").
I realize that he had to authorize the operation, but really? He makes it sould like he alone put the intel together and decided it was GTG. In reality I suspect he was being strongly urged to proceed.
You can certainly tell it is pre-election season.
BTW: I know it would be too offensive in un-PC, but we should have taken and advertised pics of us shoving a pig shout into Bin Laden's mouth, tying it in place, then tossing his dead ass into the sea (no religious honors whatsoever).
