Stuff for the truck I'm looking for.
I just bought a truck. They didn't tell me that I still needed to buy a billion mods and accessories!
This is the link I have saved for Amazon Truck Stuff...

Thank you, Sir.
The Seinfeld episode regarding "personal pleasure" is on. Funny shit.
G'nite everyone... :)
I must have missed the reason why it's become difficult & the swap is necessary. ?
Hey, looky there...I signed up here one year ago today.
Well, I submitted my promotional paperwork for the Phoenix and Tucson areas, wish me luck that I'm selected.

Best of luck, bud.
Weatherman said it was going to be 116 degrees in Phoenix today.
My sister, who lives in Cave Creek, is up at her cabin near Flagstaff to avoid the heat
yep, yep, yep
Good luck, Hurley.
Thanks for the luck gents!
I was supposed to go down and scout the areas out last month, but unforeseen circumstances kept us away. Wife and I have done a ton of research, and are prepared to move sight unseen, we know it's hot AF, we know there are a lot more critters down there, we know there is monsoon season, etc etc. We also know cost of living is cheaper, gun rights aren't being attacked (yet anyway), and it's 5-6 hours from ALL of her family, which she could use for her health issues. My wife lived in Vegas for 5 years, so, while not quite as hot, she knows heat. Below, is this week's forecast from where I grew up vs Tucson......https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...4308006e7c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...bde241f7b2.jpg

The Quad cities gets over run with Valley people who flee north during the summer. 89 & 17 NB in the summer look like 70 wb come ski season.
Funny thing is most if not all are back in the phoenix area by mid sept. By then they say it's too cold for them. Quad cities area Sept temps average in the high 70's.
I'm just ready for some consistency, with a preference towards heat. One thing we noticed here in Colorado, when it's in the 90's, the restaurant patios clear out, and people are wanting AC, I'm just dandy drinking my beer on a patio in the 90's, just have to drink it faster.

Back in 2011 I helped a buddy move when he was PCSed to Huachuca. Arizona wasn’t bad. Had its own charm, and between shooting and riding dirt bikes in the desert he was never bored.
Do you plan on water storage?
I haven't gotten as far as water storage yet, just waiting to be selected lol. One of the driving factors is tons of desert to play in, I grew up around acres upon acres of BLM land that I got to play on, I want the same for my boys.

Well, I hope you get it!
Coming to the end of the packing/staging boxes in garage thing of my own move, I think the new "Kill Your TV" should be "Sell all your crap".
It wouldn't be a problem if I didn't treat every hobby like the only one I have. What does one need with 3 bows and 100+ arrows? I dunno. Why does a person need 18 boxes of books? I dunno, but I could probably find the answer in a book. In what universe is it acceptable to have more ammo than some 3rd world army? Couldn't tell ya.
There was a time, a cherished one, when everything I owned fit in a pickup w/ room left over. The actual necessities fit in a ruck sack. Oh to return...
I just priced ordering a roll off.
I want to empty the house & be done with all of it.
Keeping my tools, art, firearms, wardrobe & husband. I might allocate a foot locker for whatever bits of precious I think I cant part with but everything else needs to go.
I'm okay with the size of my small house, but I'd like a lot of land and large shop/s.
I'm with Hurley's sentiments. Move to the affordable desert & play.
You're just going to spend more on deodorant.
Fine. F* it
And tank tops and sunscreen and Off! Deep Desert Scorpion Repellent.
oddly enough, no you don't. It's dry enough, sur eyou sweat but it evaporates real fast.
Those critters move fast to get out of your way, or they get crushed. I like the darwin effect on barefoot people who live[ed] in the valley.
All the stuff you donated to me cost me a shitload.
Looking at a handful of things that really all need to happen within the next three months...… it's a tick worrisome that all of it will get done and be completed in time.
Got the left nerf bar welded up and the frame drilled x 6. It's nice both sides are even and look good, little bit of clean up and off to powder coating on Monday after work.
That disc dana 70 gets mocked up and tacked tomorrow and off to the diff shop on Monday.....and Saturday I'll start tearing down the front diff. I decided to get all new shit to put that back together. Axle joints, seals, bearings, ball joints, rod ends, and lock outs. It's all coming apart anyways, I ain't gonna put might be okay for a while stuff back in it. (and the driveshafts).
