YES ! found another good Eye Tallen restaurant one town over. That makes 2, now to find 1 more good pizza joint and things will be ok. WE gave up on chinese food, which the spouse compares to the golden corral of asian.
BUT a Thai place just reopened down off nowheresville rd. We'll see if those who ate there are correct in their reviews. .
Irving is correct, right now it would be a good thing to have a reloading hobby.
Apparently I must have missed hitting one of those roadside emissions things in my truck this year.
Looks like I?ll have to make a trip to one of those testing places and deal with those chimps.
Don't make eye contact and smiling is seen as a sign of aggression.
I think they have a web site that lists location of roadside testing stations.
You're the only one who was in denial.
The amount you shoot it was only time before it would happen. Buy a 550 dillon till you get the hang of it, then add another one, so you can do hand gun and rifle. OR decide if investing n a 650 for your AR reloading, after the 550 is something you might want.
The 650 is real nice for volume, but (IMO) not a press you want to jump in as a beginner.
You really don't save $$ reloading, especially with ammo prices where they are now. What you will do is have a load specific you your rifle for overall performance.
My wife hits those things every year. Seems commuting for work to Superior and back every week day increases her chances of catching one.
My truck sits in the driveway all week so unless they set those things up on weekends I?ll likely never pass one.
Think I?ll stop and buy a new gas cap and toss it in the glove box before I go. Then once I?ve passed tailpipe emissions and I get to the end and they want to fail me for the gas cap I can just pull the new one out on the spot and not have to make a return trip.
They don't pull the cap to test it anymore. or they no longer did up north. However IF you fail due to the cap within the system, they'll have you retest. Since the system already issued you a fail. Just slap it on, why hassle being there any longer than necessary.
Last time I went in they failed me for the cap. I had to leave and get one and go back and get in line again and they just pulled me right up and tested the new cap when it was my turn. I think the whole process that day took me almost 2.5 hours.
Assholes.
I?m just going to keep the new cap in the truck just in case.
Almost makes me want to buy a new Ford truck. They don?t have a gas cap. Try and test that one fucktards.
The gas cap test is stupid anyways. Vehicles have been monitoring the fuel system for leaks since the late 90?s and if I had a bad cap I should get a check engine light for an evap system leak. Without the code my cap is good to go. I doubt the minimum wage flunkies running these tests know anything about what they?re doing.
Done.
I got the white people treatment. They didn?t even put my truck on the dyno or sniff the exhaust.
It seemed the nicer looking vehicles were being pushed through this way and the crappier looking ones were getting the full treatment.
Think I?ll wait a week or two to renew the tags.
On a related note I find it funny that the vehicles that I own that get the best gas mileage, probably produce the lowest emissions, and produce pretty much zero wear and tear on the roads cost more to register each year than my truck and the wife?s car.
Waiting at Xfinity to cancel internet service. Looking at a 15 minute wait. Probably still faster than CenturyLink once service is cancelled.
When they ask for their equipment back, tell them that you kicked that fucking router into the river!

(random thought). I wonder if car manufacturers lobby for emissions testing. If they haven't.... it's pretty smart collectively from the perspective of inducing future sales.
I need to start one of those remote RV'ers mail forwarding services in Montrose. Then all ya'll could be residents and voters over here, and not have to blog about your snog in the smoggin all the time. [No emissions testing out here, still, so far....]
I saw a *1794* Edition Tundra today. I've never heard of that before. I looked it up and I guess it's to commemorate when Toyota defeated the Spanish to start their first plant in Kentucky.
Rofl
Nerf bars dropped off for PC today, got the old diff out, and the new one lined up and tacked sooner than expected. Not that there wasn't a setback or two. The top plate u bolt slots weren't wide enough to accommodate the spring width.... it took two alteration sessions to get the clearance needed. It's nice to have help, thanks to the Kid. He even told me to bail for the PC drop off, and locked up the shop after he finished tacking. That kinda shit is why he's gonna get all my stuff when I croak.....good Kid.
I did order that kit from Bronco Graveyard just a bit ago, and their website is a PITA btw, or at least in my experience tonight it was. It effed up the shipping address after several attempts to have it be correct. We'll see.
Yes!...it will...and I'm down with the range trip and Christmas Dinner of course. I have the kids help and he's happy to be doing it with me, and I appreciate that time because it's like having your own boy that wants to help you with shit you want to do. He isn't my Son, but I treat him as such and it comes back the other way as well.
Ray.....I feel your pain and whole heartedly understand your vile disgust with the Colorado air care fa?ade/monkey fuck show.
Thanks.
Just blitzed painting all the baseboards except the room the kids are sleeping in. Even managed to not paint the carpet.
Here's a phrase I never thought I'd use:
Cooler full of squirrels.
Going fishing.
After recovery from maiden voyage to shake down trailer and Mrs bo's pick'mup, ready to go some place cooler and better fishing.
Hopefully rain will be middle of the day for next couple days.
Mrs bo is sporting a new rod/reel combo that she is dieing to use. Pretty sweet rig.
Sandblasting spring packs sucks monkey balls.
Stuff came out real clean and painted up really well....took forever though.
We're getting pummeled right now. Just rain so far, no hail.
Please no hail.
Holy shit!
Sideways rain and I cant see but four or five houses down the street. It's like a mini hurricane or something.
Yo, Bro.
Bummer on the breakdown. What failed?
