Nope. Unless you think 80 is hot
I'm looking for a cooler day to get some yard work done. Supposed to be a high around 84 with a better chance for storms this afternoon.
...but right now is coffee time. Oh how ILOVENEED coffee.
Get the air conditioning cranked up in the shop and then stoke up the wood fired stove.
Just because you can
Had a really good time fishing and hiking last several days at State Forest state park.
Mrs bo killed it fishing and we now have trout in the freezer, destined for the smoker.
By noon each day people would be asking if she had limited out yet and could they have her spot.
Reba had a tough time having to be on leash all the time.
We were graced by a visit to the lake for dinner by a bull moose.
He appeared to be surprised that so many people were around. He was hesitant when he first arrived but soon decided he didn't care and waded into the lake to feed along the shore.
Reba of course started raising hell at his presence and had to be taken to the truck so as not to ruin moment or garner to much of his attention or ire.
He was on the other side of lake which is only 50yds wide at that point. Would only take him a few moments to swim across.
Facing down a mad bull moose with a GSD pup is not on my vacation list of to do's.
Yeah, you did the right thing pulling her out. Don't want a harassment of wildlife ticket or something.
Am sure the other campers/hikers/fishermen were happy when we hooked onto the travel trailer to head out.
Reba was a bit of a challenge for everyone while we were there. Everybody was good natured and helped with her socialization training but you could tell after 4 days they were glad to see us go.
CN you know what this flower is? Neighbor was asking and I knew it was a bush.

That?s not a flower. It?s a bee.
Russian Sage perhaps?
I seem to have left my botany degree in my other pants.
I think my first guess is incorrect, however, I am curious if someone could shed light on the variety you have. I'm interested in attracting pollinators and helping them out if I can.
How ya doin, William?
Have tons of bumblebees this year. What's up OBC?
Friday be a coming.
Neato.
Tons o stuff to do this weekend.....hope everyone has a good day tomorrow.
How far along on the truck? I still have a dead sports car up on jack stands in my garage.
range 30, yeah!
Could the plant be Catmint? I think the leaves may be too narrow for that.
Hard to tell without a clear shot of the leaf shape. Maybe a pic between a blurry bee and 10 feet away?
It looks to be a Caryopteris (unknown grower's variety but I can find out the specific name if you'd like) which is in the Lamiaceae family.
Salvia is also a Lamiaceae as well as sage (obc) & catmint (gman).
Ho
You's a ho...

You guys seriously have a Ho'ing problem, I can't believe this thread is 2385 pages long and still going... How much server time is being wasted to this?!
Hey! Been a while. Had to disappear because life got hectic after the move, and because I couldn't stand not going to the range anymore and that bummed me out, so I tried didn't want the daily reminder... [Cry]
I still haven't gone, I'm just trying to hock some of my schtuff to you all...
