DirectTV is giving free access to EPIX for a while.
Got sucked into watching a series, Pennyworth, last night. Watched the Pilot and the next episode.
I saw that 2 more were coming up and just had the DVR record those 2.
What I am guessing, is it is about Alfred Pennyworth. who later becomes Bruce Wayne's, Batman, butler.
It has the same gothic heaviness as Batman, but located in London. Thomas Wayne and Martha Kane are featured and they become the parents of Bruce Wayne.
There appears to be 10 episodes, and I am afraid DirectTV will make me pay for EPIX to see all of them.
Just finished paying for our dog's expensive surgery from earlier this year.
What happened to your puppers?
I feel your pain. My cat had to have emergency plastic surgery last year. She had developed entropion as a 13yo cat, which is unusual. It's when the eyelids curl inwards, and the hair on the eyelids scratches the eyes. She got an eye infection as a result of the vet giving her steroids in an attempt to fix it (apparently, you're never supposed to give cats steroids). We seriously had to take her to an animal plastic surgeon 2-hrs away. Spent almost as many thousands of dollars as well.
She partially tore her ACL, so they cut her knee off, rotate it, then bolt it back together.
My wife's cat died this year too. I want to say he was 17. At first she wanted to do everything she could, but I talked her out of getting any surgeries since he was so old. We all miss him.
Thanks for the tip, never tried that option. Seems I've had trouble using BBCode here in the past...
It seems maybe OBC was having trouble getting to the image options. Hard to tell without seeing what he's doing. Also didn't ask if phone or 'puter.
There's an option on imgur to gen links for multiple pics you can select that's handy too.

Of all the photos that I post, I still can't do it mobily. It makes me mad.
My sisters dog just had ACL surgery. Hope your dog has recovered by now and that it was worth the cost! Pups are family, and they give us so much its worth it when we can help them like that.
And OBC, The BBCode link is easier. Otherwise you have to right click the inage, oprnbin new tab, then copy the link for that page, come back here and use the insert image button.
She doesn't show any limping, but when I took her in for a follow-up a few months ago, she still had a lot of soft tissue swelling. The same thing happened to our cat, and the vet was quoting us all these $2,000+ surgeries. We got a second opinion from another vet and they said, "Don't do anything. She's a cat and will heal herself just fine." They were right.
BC, your BBCode method IS simpler and I will be using it myself going forward. However, I would like to point out that the method I provided (From URL) does not require opening into a new tab and copying the link unless you want to "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" (host) the image on COAR15 and there are size limits to that making it quite useless. If the BBCode method isn't available from a hosting site, like one wants to link a found image, then the steps I outlined are still the best way I've found.
No, Google Chrome. For whatever dumbass reason, you can't get access to the same link on mobile to post a link to photos the way you do on a laptop. If there is a way, I don't know how to do it. I despise that mobile apps are different than desktop. For example, I can no longer check my business bank account from my cell phone because they made it so you have to download the app in order to access that. Why the hell should I have to download an app? I know the website address and I should be able to access from there directly.
Have you tried using the "Desktop site" option in Chrome? I know some mobile sites push you to an app before you can select it. I just looked at ar-15.co and can see the image link. However, I'm lost trying to find the imgur link options in their app and they shut down browser login access from a mobile device.

It is the desktop version, but since I use google photos, the options available are different for some reason.
Well, here it is, 11.5-hrs later, a perfectly smoked pulled pork!

I had a completely uneventful afternoon eating sweet & savory treats & visiting about nothing particularly important with a good friend.
It was perfect.
Talk about the weather a lot?
Good looking meat BC.
Uh, no.
freeloading weekend , for me, has come to an end.
time to sit back and get caught up on a few dvr'd shows or movies.
I liked The Boys enough.
I thought Bright was a movie? Is that the Will Smith as a cop with an Orc partner?
[DrillS]: What does OBO mean?
[pick-me] : OBO means "Or Best Offer".
[DrillS]: And what does OBO NOT mean?
[pick-me]: [Dunno]
[DrillS]: It does NOT mean "The first person that sends me an email asking me what my lowest price is, gets it for that price". [Stick]
[Rant2]
Am I the only one that realizes this?
(Rant is in no way related to this site, it is in response to messages I receive almost daily on arfcom for items I have for sale).
Ask them if they're ready to buy, today. If not you, appreciate their interest, then ignore them.
if you have a listing for something that's been for sale more than 1-2 weeks plus. IMO it's a tired listing and you're open to a low offer, maybe. Remove the ad, wait a month then repost, no one buys in the summer.
There's 1 or 2 folk who have had items listed here since '17. They relist the same things for the same price with no movement. If it didn't sell or get any serious interest for $xxx 2 years ago. It's not gonna move in '19 for the same price.
Throw in that's the only place those members are actually active, i don't see them getting a sale.
Yea, great advice. And I completely agree! Especially for items that have been posted a week or two. But I got the reply 11 minutes after posting the item, for the first time. Interestingly enough, its for someone that I just shipped some items to yesterday (well, Saturday).
1k .38spl bullets for $80+10 shipping (it will cost me $15 to ship them as its 23-lbs and needs flat rate box). They retail for $55/500, or $110/1k plus shipping. If I lower the price even $10, I’ll net $65, so $10 more than what I paid for one box, or about what I paid for one box shipped. Perhaps i thought that because they were priced low enough that I wouldn't get these responses.
eta: Well, I responded with $70 plus actual shipping costs, he just said he'll take them. Since I was giving a discount on shipping, he's only getting a $5 discount. Still, the whole "whats your lowest price" frustrates me.
Surprised no one hit my truck this morning. There's still the afternoon...
... & to date Ive only ever been able to take up 4 spaces, likely because its a regular cab.
