Are garden snails good for a garden?
That was plan when we started many years ago.
Yes, lunch for one or a 'nak' sampler for many.
How much does the Californication affect you out in your rural area?
So many in fact I have to set up a new cage... pictures to follow.
If anyone would like a few they make excellent classroom pets. I used to supply a second grade teacher with them but she moved last year so unfortunately I now have a surplus.
Are they good for gardens?
Never you mind. Looks like they probably aren't.
Absolutely fascinating to watch though. Cute even.
Theft of water, saddled with legislation from Hick that jacks rural electrical rates and lack of maint or repairs to rural state roads to focus money on metro roads.
I figure nearly $1000/yr extra maint and repair to our vehicles from the poor condition of the roads we drive on.
Hwy 52 from my place to Hudson will literally beat a new car apart 4-5 yrs.
Yes.
I hear this species also might be in trouble as well.
Um, that is what I was saying. Bad nanners & quarantines only work for so many years.
Did you know that 92% of statistics are just made up?
I think that only applies about 60% of the time though.
And for the record, can I just say that generators, not beer, are proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.
We lost power an hour ago. Like always, it happens when there is no storm, but we've had storms in the area recently. It's always the north side of our lake that loses power. Expecting to be without for 12+ hours, as is always the case.
We bought a generator last year (portable style) that's enough to run everything BUT the AC. We had an electrician install the mechanical lockout and breaker for it, and less than 24-hrs later, we lost power for 18-hrs. This of course, was RIGHT after we made a huge stocking-up trip to Costco, so our deep chest freezer was packed full. Lets just say, it pretty much paid for itself that one outage on groceries alone (okay, not really, but having fans and ice when its 95F+ outside is just amazing).
Why is it so easy to spend money as fast as you can make it?
Debt from the times you weren't making money, that's why. Not 100% of the story, but probably a pretty big part.
Hey Irving.
I like his fence style. I was at a place today that had something very similar and decided that I really like that kind of fence.
Yep, it's looking good.
