Well the first time it'll be on a trailer....and if it gets that bad, I'll get all Road Warrior with it and just drive over town council members cars until they pave the road.
Then repaint that shit.... :)

4009 bots, er um I mean guests online right now.
Let's say 3k are bots & the rest are just peepers.
Hello
You're up early CN. Insomnia or do you work nights?
I don't sleep much.
Going to go play @ the range with a few friends who have to wait for the weekend to do it.
Ah, that sucks.
I have to adjust to waking up early again so I can get my butt back to work Monday morning. [Cry]
Range will be fun! I miss going to the range. [Cry]
I like sleeping well enough, been trying to keep sane people hours for many months now.
It's... something I tell ya.
I guess I just didn't catch why you don't shoot anylonger?
Too far to drive or something?
Over an hour away, private club, membership is like $500/yr, only have access on certain days. And from what I hear, its a pretty crappy range.
I see.
And yes, in the grand scheme of things, thats probably not that bad, especially to the cost of indoor ranges.
But I got used to a $60/yr membership, sunrise to sunset, 7-days a week. 4 private general purpose lanes, 16-pistol lanes, 200-yd rifle and 400-yd rifle. Staffed with complimentary target stands.
edit: its primarily the distance. Losing 2-hrs travel time means Id have to be at the range at least 3-hrs to make it worth it, and thats half a day. Which translates to lots of money in ammo.
Amen to that. Weld cty is $125 365/6 sunrise - sunset out to 200 meters. Pawnee (split fee with other forum members) my part was $30-40 year round sunrise to sunset
Down here it's a 10 - 30 min drive depending how far out i want to shoot. Or the range ($150 membership) able to draw from holster, discount on classes, soon to go out 5-600 yds with steel plates. Or i can drive to the valley and shoot at Ben Avery
Or ....hypothetically suppressed 22 in an undisclosed area ;)
The hummingbird feeders attract a decent flow of traffic. There's an inquisitive one who has no problem literally coming with in inches of you.
He/she fly's around your head, chirps a few times, then takes off. Seeing there's no threat will come back to visit some more before a final goodbye. We're hoping we get a visit when we're sitting down.
Yea, in NM, if I drove an hour, I had access to a 1k+ yd range. Was building up my long range skills at 200-400yds (reloads included) before I went out there. Then we moved and I never got the opportunity. :(
I just cant justify that cost, especially with the long drive to get to the range. If it was that high and 15-min away, it might be more manageable. Oh well, one day we’ll have better access to a range.
Got a lot of wiring done today....all of the lights are done now.
There's still some stuff to do in the cab but it's mostly done as well.
So OBC, whatcha buildin'? Seems like quite the project! I haven't gone back digging but it looks like it'll be a pretty nice truck when you're finished!
Thank you, I think it will be.
It's a '79 F-250 but it has a 7.3 powerstroke in it. I actually started the project eight or so years ago, but life problems hindered progress for several years. It was actually Labor day weekend last year that I took the cab off the chassis and replaced the first engine that I put in. So...this last year much has happened, and it's getting close to completion. I should be able to get a decent pic of the whole thing after the driveshafts are done and I can get it outside again. Driveshafts are waiting on the T-case install, which should be ready to pick up Mon/Tue latest.
Lobo,..what happened to your car Man?
Oh the shit that's running through my head as I look at a calendar.
tick tock, tick tock.
Good morning people
Time to make the chimichangas.
Giggle
Mmm. Chimichangas.
First, must get coffee.
G'morning PWT....
Good morning fellow ho-bags.
Heading east on I-70, I must have passed 10 Corvettes, most with California plates. Now that I'm going the other way, over 50% of the eastbound vehicles are Corvettes.
THE 6TH NATIONAL CORVETTE CARAVAN IS SLATED FOR AUGUST 28-31, 2019.
Often referred to as the world’s largest moving automotive event, the National Corvette Caravan is a celebration of America’s Sports Car, culminating in Bowling Green, Kentucky for the anniversary celebration of the National Corvette Museum. Hosted only once every five years, the next event is slated for Labor Day Weekend 2019 and will mark the Museum’s 25th Anniversary. Leading the charge will be Jeffrey Duda of Hainesport, NJ, a Lifetime Member of the Museum and previous co-captain of the New Jersey 2014 and 2009 Caravans.
Regional caravans will form and join other caravans as they travel across the United States to meet in Bowling Green, Kentucky for four days of festivities at the National Corvette Museum. An event such as this requires years of planning and coordinating. All help is appreciated!

Just a guess?
I'm sure that's it. It's like seeing a once every decade locust migration or something.
OBC, that sounds like a pretty cool project! The detailed photos you've shared already make it look awesome, can't wait to see the more completed thing!
And I used to be in a Mini (Cooper) club in NM. They would go on monthly day trips to see various things. It's quite the sight to see 50+ Mini Coopers driving in unison, reaching their destination, and then filling up only a single parking space. [ROFL1]
Hot day. Fun day. Long day
Good night
Too hot today. Doggo ran out of juice half way through our long walk.
Tackled the garage org today. Put up an 7ft 2x10 board, got some forked hooks and put them 16" oc. All larger hand garden tools and piwered tools got hung up. Needs some further masaging, but got everything off the floor and out of the way. Just need to do a similar approach for extension cables. The cleaning and crap reduction is slow but ongoing.
Welding continues to be difficult. You'd think I'd be better by my second time. :p
