Heya, CN.
Where ya been?
Gorgeous Truck, OBC. I just bought a nice new white truck (my first!), but let's just say, it's a lot more civilized looking. :)
-John {underneath the covers I'm sure she would like to roar like yours. ;)}
Hey Cat, I promise if your truck goes missing I will make her bring it right back.
Pretty happy with the new Strikefire2 on the truck rifle.
Speaking of fine upstanding young men, now that BC has checked in, anybody heard from HB lately?
Kazoo, you heard from CA lately?
Or else!
-John
Just the one?
Mornin' folks.
Not much from CN for a couple of days. I guess real life is getting in the way? ;-)
My favorite part of emergency dental surgery, so far, is the general anticipation, and the unanticipated costs. What's your favorite part of emergency dental surgery?
The screaming and blood.
I generally assume no insurance, so that shouldn't be too big of a deal.
Seemed positive and it seems like a great opportunity. They've got a few other interviews queued up for this week. Hope to know something at the end of the week or next week.
Apparently there was some gunfire a stones throw from the house. Steenking news helicopters just buzzing around looking to grab a story.
I'm in so much pain right now I've isolated myself from my family and will definitely be logging out of here lest I start 10 fights I can't finish.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
Videos of surgery. I've learned to not watch videos of what's going to happen until after it's over.

Season 2 of Disenchanted dropped on Netflix.
Are you waiting for or just had surgery?
Believe it or not sipping cold milk helps a tiny bit when you have an exposed nerve.
I wanted to limit the opioids. Last time I only took one and it was all I needed to deal with the root canal. Also, last time the numbing lasted until I pulled into the Walgreens parking lot about a mile from my house. This time the pain started as I was leaving the parking lot and I had to navigate rush hour traffic for what felt like an hour, just trying not to lose my shit the whole time. I got reckless and popped whatever the pain med was (picked them up before the surgery) and it's been at least an hour and it's not nearly as comfortable as last time. Last time was a breeze. I'm going to have my wife look up if I can take more meds. This isn't going well.
I was literally trying not to laugh during the surgery. It was that comfortable. I almost wish it were worse so I could have better anticipated how much this would hurt. At least it wasn't unreasonably expensive (compared to just pulling the tooth and getting a fake one put in).
If youre still having this level of pain AFTER the surgery I'd have concern.
The nerve is supposed be gone so there shouldn't be that kind of pain, period.
Well, they cut open the side of my gum to access that way. It feels consistent with having my face cut open and my mouth pulled apart for about 30 minutes.
Pmed you again.
Sorry, dude. When your teeth hurt, there's really no way to ignore it. Sometimes rinsing with warm salt water can help your gums.
I'm hoping the best for ya, Irving. Sorry you're dealing with the pain that you are.
I know it doesn't help to read that, however I hope you can get the pain management under control very soon.
Not to distract, but we're dealing with "neighbor" pain right now...and it's messing up all kinds of plans we had laid out, and generally being a giant pain in the ass.
I'm gonna try and help my gal figure some of this stuff out and then get the hell to bed. Still need to get up early for the eagle shits on time.
Night ho-bagerines.
Sounds like an Open House with BBQ.
Or a continual loop of these 2 songs might work.
