Ughhh. Had this as a kid. A week in the hospital. 3 days of draining via siringe from the front of the knee, Jesus that was pain. Day 4 it was no better and they put in drain tubes on each side of the knee for a couple of days. No PT at that time so I gimped around for a long time.Quote:

It's damage from some pretty severe trauma (hence the blood in the fluid). I'm keeping an eye on it, and it's not infected. Doc warned me that it would build some more fluid after draining since the pressure I had in there was limiting the damaged cells from releasing more. I'm hoping it plateaus soon.Quote:
