So, after my one hour morning commute, a ten hour shift, and probably an hour commute home it looks like I get to shovel the driveway and then try to figure out why the garage door wouldn?t open this morning. Maybe after that I?ll have time for some dinner before bed.

"The Princess" loves the cold weather and snow. Often have to threaten to leave her out all night to get her in the house. She tries to help shovel/sweep snow off walk and deck, helps make it take twice as long.

That undercoat on the GSD appears to work quite well. Caught the pup frolicking in the snow this morning. He'll plow his head through the snow and regularly has snow on his nose.

Not into much of the 80's rap, more of a 90's guy myself, I like Public Enemy, Ice Cube, 2pac AND Biggy, Bone Thugs, Twista, Red man and Method man, basically anything in that Era.

I've mentioned it before, but I'm quite diverse in my music choices, I like everything from reggaeton to blues, from metal to rap, adult alternative to EDM. I grew up in a smallish farm and cow town, where the number of black people could be counted on one hand, so I didn't exactly grow up in the epicenter of rap/hip hop music, I don't really hate any music, and despite my upbringing, Country music is towards the lower end of my preference list. I sometimes wonder if folks that despise or hate a certain type of music, do so because of the culture that is associated with it, and not actually the music itself.

I'm similar to you with musical diversity, even to the point that country is about last place. There are a few artists like Chris Stapleton and John Moreland that have songs I like. But once that whiney violin starts up, I'm out. Country music is like all other music in that there are a handful of great songs, the bulk of the rest is forgettable and indistinguishable, and then there is even the worse stuff. Oh yeah, so I'm aware of black country artists, but since it's not my genre don't really listen. The very idea that black people are infiltrating the genre with comparable quality music and people are pissed about it like it sounds any different or worse than the out right garbage that they listen to, tickles me pink.

A lot of win in this post, thanks for explaining. As far as OBC goes, judging by various interactions on here, I think you are probably a great guy (one of the few members I've never met), that being said, if you would make posts based on opinion and not as hard fact, the "retarded" thing might not be such an issue.

Doc I have been seeing can't see me until 11/6. Went to see a different Orthopedic doc about my knee today since it's full of fluid again. I know and trust him, he's been in practice for more than 20 years, and he said it's the biggest swollen knee he's ever seen. Scheduling an MRI to figure out what's damaged and plan a strategy to get it healed up.
