A puppy on crack...lol. That's what the GF's been doing inside the house with X-mas decorations.
It looks like the North Pole and Santa threw up all over inside the house. Meh, I'm kinda gettin Griswold on the outside myself, just need better weather to keep on truckin.
I think we lost some trees over here as well, Kazoo. The Cedar being one of them, dang it.
Buffalobo, did you make it out to pick up your 22?
Yeah, made it down Friday afternoon.

When you take the train to Glenwood Springs, expect it to be at least three hours late on the return trip.
Apparently because of freight trains. It's been over three hours late for two days in a row. I think it was an hour late leaving Denver as well.
What?s it cost to take the train to Glenwood? Anybody know?
Dunno
The last train to clarksville already left tho
Got hung up on Winter Park for an hour. Add that to the 3.5 hours late when we got on. It's pretty affordable. I'll update you when I can.
Maybe if they kept the trains on time the railroad companies wouldn't need govt support.
Sheet, just had to run out to truck. BRRRRRR! WU says 5?, -6? chill.
Always been a winter guy but...
Supposed to pick up in Glenwood at 12:05pm and be in Denver around 6:30. We're expected at 11:30pm.
I don't actually care cause it's vacation, but most be frustrating for people who aren't. Also, on the train so long and getting into town after places close, so people are eating at the snack car. Just spent $58 on what would have cost my e about $20 at a gas station.
Never bothered much by the wind, lived in a few places known for being windy but...
First time on a train, so don't know what's normal. No one is really saying anything. Conductors aren't really addressing it. Not sure what they'd say. I'm under the impression they can't really control much.
Train travel is weird because the time it takes from Nederland to Winter Park is way short compared to a car. On the other hand, we still have over an hour of estimated travel time to a union station, but are basically in Arvada.
Vortex appears to be eliminating some models/options in their line of precision rings. Specifically the ones I am looking for.
Dealer is working on it for me but my own research/checking points that way.
If so it will be the first beef I have had with Vortex or their products.
Was off the train by about 11:00pm.
Buffalobo, how different could the rings be? They don't have a similar model that will work?
Looks like only going to offer one height(too low for my needs) option for 1" rings and it is a Weaver style not picatinny.
Will either have to change brands or switch to Vortex Pro, Tactical or Sport rings or find old stock set hanging on a peg in a store somewhere.
Ray, train tickets were $292, round trip, for seven of us.
Thanks. That seems reasonable.
My wife has been wanting to make the Glenwood trip by train for a while now and I haven?t even looked into it.
I?ll definitely relate your travel experience to her about the possibility (probability?) of delays.
The further ahead you book, the cheaper it will be. Train cars have WAY more room than an airplane. There is an observation car in the middle of the train that gets so crowded during the day that they start making appointments and locking people out so others have a chance. The snack car is below the observation car, and I think the dining car is one ahead. As natives, we passed on the observation car, BUT, past 10pm is quiet hours and they turn off the train lights. So we just went into the observation car at ten so we could play cards and still talk and see. Everyone else in there at the time was doing the same thing and it wasn't crowded.
Trains have to back into Union Station, so if you are boarding, or departing from there, they will stick into the very last car. Food was generally three cars up from the back.
Thanks. Good info.
Woof.
It's cold or I would.
I still have the back, north and south ends to do.
Snow and muck screwed everything up.
No, shit's working.
Except for the truck...something is pissed off and now it wont start. I think it's electrical in nature.
Pissin me off though until I find it.
My Comcast Internet service has been very reliable, but it's sure noticeable when it's down. Not supposed to be back up until after 5pm.
What an awful day today has been. GFY, day.
Got Internet back about an hour ago. I was having withdrawals.
