Gone For So Long: http://youtu.be/pyiBKjb4bPA by J. Thompson
There aren't all that many female rock artists that I like, but Meg Myers has really piqued my interest lately. I could see how someone might think her stuff all sounds the same, but that doesn't bother me because I like her stuff. Fits right in with Poe and Fiona Apple. I like her music videos too. Here are a few.
Desire.
This video was probably fun to make. Curbstomp.
Anyone else have a heck of a time searching for this thread since there are no real words in the title? I can never remember how anything is spelled.
Might as well read every thread on the board if I search my own name.

The entire album, Flood, is a classic. Fun, kooky and catchy songs. :)
I know all the words to every song on that album.
Even old New York was once New Amsterdam
Why they changed it I can't say
People just liked it better that way
So take me back to Constantinople
No, you can't go back to Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Constantinople
Why did Constantinople get the works?
That's nobody's business but the Turks
I'm John, and I'm John
Supposedly they record kids fairy tale songs. I liked them for their odd ball style. You're impressed by me knowing TMBG. My record / music file / cd collection has a vast array of styles. Including Zakk Wylde ( Black Label Society) doing a countryesque CD.
Been in a traveling music mood.

I was introduced to TMBG by the Tiny Toons cartoons believe it or not. They had music videos for Constantinople and Triangle Man.
Ohhh, I just remembered, but there was a movie called Blink about a blind woman who is able to see again after a surgery. She is a violinist, and they show her playing a song in the first scene of the movie that I swore was the intro to Constantinople. I was pretty young when I saw it so I could be wrong; but I always wondered.
My final TMBG memory was from when I was about 12 years old and I was standing in the Dairy King in Berthoud (just before the pass) and a group of older kids around a table broke out in song together with "MINIMUM WAGE.....HEEEYAAAAAA! ....... (whipcrack)"
sure it's a pain in the ass but i still love my
