Yes.
And Howdy.
Damn lobo glad you didnt have any issues! Prairie fires are quick asf and unpredictable in wind.
Glad you're okay, and I like that wagon.
Mrs bo gets a little testy when I shrug and say it was not that close.(1/4 mile and 2 lane road to cross)
Worst we should have to be concerned about is monitoring and watching for embers in air/on roof and spray them down.
Most embers from prairie fire are not heavy enough to catch material other than prairie on fire. Easy to catch field next to you on fire but not so easy to catch house/barn on fire.
Many structure fires in prairie fire are due to easily combustable material accumulating near stucture or structure is 50yr old dried to balsa consistency barnwood.
We keep an area approx mowed short around house and shop and trees are set out away from house. Have 5 access points to 1" water lines. Even in drought chances of losing house to prairie fire should be low.
Best thing about prairie fire is fuel goes fast and once fuel is gone fire is gone. Still hard to watch it coming at you.
Followed by "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"
Been 25+ years since last watched it.
Fun to compare/contrast classic Sci Fi to modern Sci Fi.
In 1953 and even 1977 actors had to carry the story, special effects were primitive and sometimes laughable.
Today, don't even need actors, which is good cause most suck, as the cinemagraphics are amazing.
Anyone else think about WKRP in Cincinnati whenever they hear someone say Venus flytrap?
Yeah, don't leave the road if field wet.

Very relatable personalities, each unique, not homogenized through political correctness. I miss those days.
Even though I was sort of young at the time, I remember All In the Family was hilarious back in the day.
The MSM is so stupid sometimes. They'll do anything for attention. Even Fox News sensationalizes.
"Los Angeles rattled by magnitude-3.3 earthquake"
Californians don't even notice a 3.3. Hell, most Coloradans probably wouldn't notice a 3.3. "Rattled"? Maybe like a baby rattle.
[facepalm]Quote:
According to the Los Angeles Times, a three-year data sample shows that California and Nevada are hit with an average of 234 earthquakes that have magnitudes between 3.0 and 4.0 per year.
Last summer, Southern California experienced its largest earthquake sequence in two decades, beginning July 4.
A magnitude-6.4 quake rocked the Mojave Desert about 120 miles north of Los Angeles before a 7.1 rattler hit the next day, followed by more than 100,000 aftershocks.
Almost a daily occurance in some part of Kali.
Todays Nascar Classic - Inaugural Brickyard 400.
The new kid from Califooorrrnnnniiiiiiaaaa ruined bubba' s chance to win the first Nascar race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Irvin had a flat right front tire while leading with 5 laps to go.
Got in to work this morning to find out that two moose had committed assisted suicide off the top deck of one of our parking garages. Seems they’d wandered in and worked their way to the 7th floor, local PD spotted them on surveillance and the moose jumped off after LEO tried to “herd” them with their lights and sirens.
Saw it...again.

Live stuff supposed to be back soon.Quote:
Gordon was born in Vallejo, California and raised in Pittsboro, Indiana, and considers Sonoma Raceway and Indianapolis Motor Speedway as his "home" tracks.
Pretty sad result.
4.5 is barely noticeable outside no where.
4.5 inside is noticeable, but not major shake.
