While that sucks.. Did you get your new boots, yesterday.

458 Socom upper or 223 upper.....that is the question
I've had those days where nothing seems to work. Even speaking to people doesn't seem to work. It's like you're speaking some alien language and other people can't seem to understand the simplest things? Sometimes it makes me just want to go back to bed and try again tomorrow.
I've never shot beyond 300yd on windy day like today. Seriously wanna see how bad it it will be.
40-50mph wins today?
Yeah. New work boots. That might have contributed to my mood this morning. Should have just worn the old ones today.
Good thing is I have walked and climbed around enough this morning and been head to toe covered in sweat so the new boots are breaking in quickly.
Snow to 90F in month of May.
I'm not holding my breath, but it would be nice.
He's probably still trying to find his way back to where he got blown away from.
Speaking shooting in the wind...
Ray, Irving you guys still in for tomorrow?
By the time we get another chance Chick will be healed up and we won't be able to talk about her.[emoji41]
I think so. What time?
I sent you a pm.
I asked one of my buddies. He said "been there done that".
I still do not have experience at 40mph+ :(
It would be been a great video footage if I shot yesterday.
(Minus the sound of the wind on a microphone).
I need that yellow bench/table tape. [Coffee]
Strap-in for safety!
Possibly. Actually made my first trip out for 2020 today.

I kind of have stuff to do tomorrow- mow, get the sprinklers turned on and dialed in, spray weeds, etc. Probably a half days worth of stuff to do.
If we can go early and I can get home mid day that would be great.
Let me know.
I was in a rush and only had time to eat at taco bell.
$5 chalupa box was not too bad even with meat and beans there. No restroom visits.
Early is good for me too. I have 3 stands similar to yours and redneck IDPA targets.
My drive is only 20-25 mins so 0700 is not too early for me. You guys have travel time.
I?m an early riser. Let me clear it with my wife and I?ll let you know for sure.
I have six of those metal stands and a pile of wooden sticks. Getting a little low on targets but I bet I can scrounge up ten or twenty IPSC ones. (Sorry, no IDPA). I have pasters so we can extend their useable life.
It will take me a bit to get there. They are apparently still doing work on that bridge so I have to go out to Byers and catch 36 and come in from the east.
My wife already talked to me about her going somewhere tomorrow, so unfortunately I have to bail. I haven't bought her another vehicle yet since her last one exploded back in February.
So, got some pistol practice in today.
Who wants to bet that Irving and Buffalobo make me look bad tomorrow?
Ha, SIL was out last week and I was little embarrassed and that was after I had to sweep cobwebs off my pistol range bag.
I think somebody filed all the front sights off, I couldn't find em for shit.
I've noticed my sights are getting smaller as well. Must be shrinking because of the cleaning solvent or something. They used to be much easier to see.
I think that's why I shoot a rifle better these days. The further out the front sight is, the better.
It is a little easier to bring this one into focus.

Today's lunch was Home cooked Hotdog, salad, and Cheese burger. I bought the 32 Great Value pack. It is okay, and better than I thought it would be.
