Glock perfection?
Yeah it tried to double feed a few times and was chewing up the face of my flat points; of which I've fired thousands before with no issue. I was manually ejecting two rounds at a time.
I just drank 2- 12oz (24oz total) dark roast coffee. I am sure I can fall asleep by 3am. :)
At least it was dark roast. Lighter roasts have more caffeine. [Coffee]
I might try lighter one next time.
Hand loads, all factory parts in the gun. Mags are who knows how used though, springs might be weak. Now that I think about it, I thought I had an issue shooting with Buffalobo and Day the day before as well. I need to number all my mags, as I have some that don't drop free as well. It's so long between when I actually shoot that I forget about everything I wanted to fix.
I have 2 glocks with plastic sight at this time. I might just keep it like that this time.
I kept most factory upgrade. Only after market upgrade I did was on glock43 ext slide release. There is no factory ext slide release.
I shoot cheap factory glock sight better , ONLY IF, I close my left eye HALF WAY. (Yes. I can still see most of left
peripheral side, just little darker).

Im loving this rain.
My garden will too.
Riding a dirt bike with knobbies on the street during rain is a great reminder of one's lack of skill. Good thing I made it back before real rain.
An update on the whole "Arbery" trainwreck....

We knew they were prosecuting the two guys in the pickup truck, now they're also charging the guy that filmed the cell phone video that made all the MSM rounds with murder now [facepalm]
I can't imagine any possible way that meets the burdens for charging murder, even by association e.g. conspiracy normally requires a "meeting of minds".
But, he's gotta go through the new court-of-public-opinion now.
Ironic, being if it wasn't for his video, the two guys never would've been charged... and he was reportedly cooperating with authorities through the process.
Possibly a great example of why it is important to exercise your 5th amendment right to silence even where you're not a participant?
^^^ I must have missed when this was a topic?
Seems like May 93rd now. I need out.
Yeah the factory night sights are about the best deal to be had for Glock sights, still debating them or some of the fancier Ameriglo or Trijicon offerings, this is shaping up to be my "forever" carry pistol as Glock nailed perfection (for me) in this one.

Good morning everyone
That left a mark.
Ouch, again. But assuming that's the repair of the gaping hole it's pretty darn good. Best wishes for the healing.
It is. Thanks!
They were able to close it & cut (ba bum tss) a couple months off the repair process. I woke up from the last surgery wholly surprised as this was not expected. Told the plastic surgeon beforehand that I honestly didn't care about pretty, didn't have it in me to sit still for another 3-4 months before being able to start rehab & really was just hoping/needed it to work again. He listened. Im thrilled he didn't minimize my needs & found a way. Given the circumstances from which this begun, the results both in function & aesthetics are expected to be fantastic & I couldn't be more grateful. Doubt it'll even show much or leave me wanting for mobility when all is said & done though, it'll take time to get there. Trite as it may sound, truly the best part is that I have more time now.
Yay
Im very ready to move forward.
That is a surprisingly nice closure, considering the defect.
Had surgery on my legs 2 years ago, no fun. Doc said I would lose a leg (or worse) if I did not have it so I let the Germans operate on me. I got "Helga the punisher" for a nurse.
I decided to meme a shooting competition this weekend

I know riiight?!
If you don't like graphic, skip this next part, or not...
As I understand it, he peeled the skin off part of my leg like a sausage casing & then slid it up & over like a knee sock trimming the excess where necessary. Reattached the underside of the dermis to the muscle with sutures as they went along finally stretching it over the softball sized void & closed the seams with staples. Surgeon is a wizard if Ive ever met one. Very tight in a couple areas but that should remedy with time they said. Some nerve damage too but again, it should resolve for the most part. Plastics doubts they will want another go of it unless there's an area that just wont stay closed or proves to hinder. Bonus is that it looks nice enough & with no negative pressure vac. & no skin graft necessary I'm now several months ahead of schedule. Yay.
I am not on a pt schedule yet, no. They don't want me doing much of anything until they remove the staples & the sutures dissolve, so another couple weeks. Also, seems it's 3 months until the incision is considered 50% healed. Dont want to pop the seams. I still have more with oncology too.
Really only have one complaint about the multiple medical/hospital/surgery experiences. Simply, I wish I could have a private little chat with the last anesthesiologist because I wasn't out like he initially thought. I told him beforehand (it always happens) that I wake up during - but he apparently didn't listen. I managed to make it known I wasn't out-out while I was in the OR... that kind of sucked, again.
Damn. How'd I miss that you were having your next procedure?
That actually looks really good. They were able to close without having to do a graft?
ETA: Now I'm caught up and you covered that. Shoot, with some more healing the skin should relax over time and I'm tickled the surgeon was able to make it happen for ya!
ETA Further: Hope your healing goes as well as the surgery seems to have. Positive mindset has a great deal to do with a good outcome in my experience. The prospect of getting going sooner than expected, without having the graft site needing to heal as well, should help.
I think the down-side will be wanting to get back at it sooner than maybe you should. I seem to recall you getting bored. [Coffee]
Yes. I keep pushing a bit more than I probably should.
Separately, I sorted another (approximately) 8k of brass today. Easier when you only shoot about 4 different head stamps. Few random ones always seem to make it in though when other folks collect brass during competition. I ended up with 48 pmc that I never shot for example. Also, 35 frontier 223, & few hundred -ish other misc.
This is a new experience - sorting brass, so please pardon my naivete. I had to text a couple people to find out if year stamps mattered, or certain crimp variations, etc.
Wish for fast recovery!
I am not 100% myself and have difficult time jogging still, but I can play take it east type of sports.

I think laps 1 to 5 is a great example of practice or test runs. Aggressive and not aggressive runs to see time. Lap 5 looks like you wanted to see the track condition?
The Mazda steering (at least when I was driving yrs back then) was very fine and sensitive. I think it is very power assisted than vehicles like BMW.
Do you left foot brake?
(For dual clutch, high speed corner for manual gearbox).
