Good luck with fires.
Will the fires kill the Covid?
...or will the smoke cause mucus flow making it worse, like tear gas at a riot?
Looking for a silver lining to the situation.
Brutal news. R.I.P. Nigel Broadfoot.
He was 39.
That's sad news. Any details as to what happened?
Whoever put the ?I? and the ?O? side by side on the keyboard should be shot.
I?m sure back when everything was typewriters and keyboards it was fine but on a tiny cell phone it just pisses me off.
There?s a big difference between being in something and on something.
Sittin on the porch watching the storm front hoping the lightening doesn't hit my dry azz grass and light it up while hoping to get more than a tenth of an inch of rain.
Hey Ray, you have at least a couple more folks to compete with looking for RPR.
The minions had dad plans that didn't include grand dads, so I invited the other grand dads out for BBQ and back yard range time.
Everybody had a good time with wide variety of rimfire but the little groups that gun shoots got their attention.
Couple guys said they had never shot more than couple rounds thru same hole( most are hunting guys that like to shoot large calibers at large animals and think rimfire is for plinking, rabbits and teaching the kids).
I broke the yellow motorcycle. Now neither one starts.
Got messages from one asking about glass and the other where to find one.
Spark and fuel.
I think I?m going to wait until the background check doesn?t take days anyways.
Actually working on sort of making a clone of Irving?s light weight 10/22 right now anyways. The barrel and stock just arrived this evening. Just to avoid being a total copycat I am going with black and gray instead of earth tones.
Unfortunately it died while I was riding it. Got loud and weak, then stopped. I was able to get it started again later, but doesn't feel like any compression. I think it's done and can be a winter project. I appear have an idea of what I want to do with it.
:)
Got most of mine together today. Pretty much a copy of Irving?s.
Comes in at under 3.5 lbs. Once I drop a small reflex sight on it and stuff a loaded 10 round magazine in it I?m guessing it will sit right around 4 lbs even.

That looks great. Seems like it'd be fun at steel challenge.
Up & down, jumping up & down. was one of the pups today. Standing on the hind legs spinning around. WTF, she doing. Oh there's a raven dive bombing her. Guess it hit her back, says th espouse. So the pup decides, ok i gave you a pass, but now, it's open season.
Turns out one of the ravens hatchlings was on the ground wandering where the dogs were, too
This is bullshit, sitting in the RV while it sleets outside. Am supposed to be floating around on my pontoon catching fish.
Been pushing 100? for the last week and I finally get to the hills...

Damn, even got a few snow flakes.
Better make more coffee.
Golf carts are extremely hot commodities right now.

Hard to tell from the pic, but it's coming down pretty good, also a couple Hummingbirds in the background loving it (look closely).
Good eye, and thanks for the info, I know nothing about them, but we really enjoy watching them, we have lots that hang out, they are very playful.

Oh, you have Broad-billed Hummingbirds there too, the most beautiful hummingbird in North America. I've banded hummers all around AZ, including Tucson.
Last fall, I banded the 4th CO record Broad-billed here in Palisade. Also, the 1st CO record Broad-billed in 2002. Very rare here, rare in northern AZ, common in Tucson.

He's a juvenile male.
Wanted a Hummer. Never bought one. Good thing.
Nice to see tucson is getting rain. I washed to vehicles this week and all we got was maybe 15 min of rain.
Be curious to see if you notice a lot of hbird activity. It seems this year Every hb has a few offspring, lots of activity around the feeders, more so than the last 2 years. . We've had them get real close to us, while sitting on the back patio.
Feed them and they will come, GK. Clean and fresh is key. I catch and band hummers in Sedona every summer but not this year due to Covid. Have wanted to visit but am always squeezed for time.
Hummer, can you post some pics or link to site for commonly seen in Colorado?
I have enjoyed watching them my whole life but could not identify a single one.
Very envious of your experience being able to interact and examine them closely. Unique creatures.
Had a start and a smile recently while floating on my skeeter when a very shimmery green humming bird paused a moment to inspect a lure I had just attached to my line and prepared to cast.
