The vehicles that I saw were pretty damaged beyond your typical dings. Broken windshields, headlights and tail lights, outside mirrors, etc.

That's definitely bad hail, but like you said, the population density up there is pretty low. Lots of farm buildings have corrugated roofs and often farmers don't care about a dented roof on a building that only has 3 sides to start with.
In a panic to find a hotel, I booked 15 days at a place with no power (as most of the town is out). I went back to check and saw the warning that I ignored. Of course now I can't even reach them to see what's going on. I'll check tomorrow and cancel if I need to. I hope I don't have to stay an hour away from town or anything.
Took the kids and wife ATVing. Consensus is that we need to get some of our own.
My 05 burb sucks for towing a trailer with 4 ATVs in the mountains. Took a looooong time to get up to the speed limit.

Probably depends more on the trailer. I hauled four ATVs with my old 93 GMC without too much struggle but the trailer was really light. I did it another year with a borrowed trailer that weighed 3300# empty and it was a horrible experience.Quote:
