Have you been to any ranges, down there. or just open land? I work the outdoor range down the road, a few hours sat & sun. The amount of women with guns as well as joining the range. Not just the casual shooter, is impressive.
One of the shooters today, female early 60's lays out her handguns. Then says, I just got this new CZ so i'm going to see how it shoots. 9mm? No it's a 45 ( with a big smile) She drops both mags on the X-ring. Nice shooting. Yeah but it's not as accurate as my CZ Orange .
Unfortunately I have?s been shooting at all since I?ve been here, there are a few good spots to shoot that were off limits due to fire restriction, but hopefully I can make it out soon, I have a build that I need to test fire, unfortunately my ammo situation isn?t as good as I?d like, so I won?t get too carried away. That?s cool you are working a range, we?d like to get up north for a camping trip come spring, may have to come visit.

Went to a charity function at a yacht club in Corpus Christi
A few of the ladies were talking and the subject turned to concealed carry
Every one of them had a pistol in their purses
Gotta be crazy to mess with Texas
3 years ago, I was extremely confused few of my well off friends were doing uber/Lyft.
Now I know why after they explained how much they wrote off.
You'd have to write a ton off in order for it to be worth it.
Yup and higher tax bracket who is in a verge to get in to higher one if not wrote off.
Based on mileage , if he drive 50% , those 50% expense can be written off.
I think ~70% driving was all business related driving for my mileage on 2019.
What are the chances you'd recognize one of your credit card numbers if you saw it printed out?
pretty good. considering i acquired a pre-paid credit card, a few years back.
Looking at the numbers i thought. These are my old, like 7-8 yrs ago, CC numbers.
Looked back at those bills and........... only 1 - 2 digits difference than what the old card was. Of course the expiration date was different ;)
Every time I see my number in a list of other numbers, I don't recognize it, even when I know it was me.
The only reason i recognized and checked the card was. Those were the same / close enough ones on a card , that was used in 3 states over a few days, to run up like $5-6k of small charges. Which the CC company actually asked . Are you sure you didn't use the card in those places?
Almost time to make the donuts. Like CO it's 28 this a.m. Probably get close to 70+ again, this afternoon. Good thing we have a burn barrel at the range, it's a tad chilly

It would be cool to meet ya if you decide to head up this way... :)
Alright ! GK and I will see you in a while, I figure.
I think you'll like the area once you see it, it really is beautiful here....mountain ranges everywhere you look.
Just getting caught up on the posts. Have been crazy busy getting moved into the new to us house. Work all day, home projects all evening. Repeat.
Having moved for the first time in over 20 years, I can?t believe all the fun I had been depriving myself of.
Glad I'm not suffering alone post move. 25 years in our previous home and we collected a lot more than just memories! Now that were getting settled the electrical issues in our new home, from the mid 60s, are popping up!

Dang, that's a bad shoot if there ever was one. One of the 1 / 100 that should've been fired a long time ago. This happened Dec 29, 2020 in Modesto, CA. Officer has 5 OIS with 4 of them fatal. Crazy.
definitely agree. Iron sights at that distance (4.50 something time stamp) IMO i saw, at the original distance no gun. Nor would i have taken a shot.. BUT we( forum members) proved a long time ago. In a target shoot at pawnee. Hits at that distance were not all on target.
Throw in no one knows how many, if anyone, are in the building the bg is up against.
expected highs of 54 today
it's hammer time .
Two hours of sleep FTW.
Fuck me.
Hey, impeach a president who's no longer in office of a false accusation?
You must be Joaquin.
;)
1. Sig P320X5 at 50 yd. (they said 50 from google earth @4:45ish). This guy better have a 20/20 vision and be able to prove that he can distinguish specific item at 50yd at the trial.
2. 4 fatal shots out of 5 shoot outs. This guy must be cherry picking calls or just have shitty luck at best. As people know the worst case , and I will not mention it.
3. When the suspect put their hands down, it is natural which it gets tiring. I don't know I can raise my hand for longer than 15 seconds when I got shot. Maybe the shooter (officer ) had many "Kneeling with hands above their head" discipline at school and expect suspect to raise their hands for a 30+ mins. [LOL]

I hear you. 1976 construction for us. Have a Federal Pacific electrical panel being replaced on the 23rd. In some regards, ?they don?t build them like they use to? is a good thing, not so much for some others.
Did a lot of down-sizing before and have a lot more to do after. I’ll be happier with less.
Got the 1" body lift unsuspecting in the Trooper. It's getting tall. We found a company that sells bolt on portal axles. Of course they don't make them for my specific vehicle, but they DO make them for IFS. Those would add another 4-5". Plus, the fear reduction ranges from 1.16-2:1 at each axle. That would solve my gear issues and I might as well run 37s. Then it'd be like 7" taller and I'd need steps or a ladder to get in, and I'm 6'2" and very handsome. My wife and dogs would need a damn ramp.
Right now, it's developing into more of an overlander rather than a rock crawler. That said, it's the hunting/camping rig, and since they like camping at least once a year, then yes, family and dogs will need to be able to enter the vehicle.
Toss 'em
I have become, comfortably numb
My 1 side of the body gets numb when I do elliptical or treadmill for 30 min straight.
I divide it into 2 or 3 sessions now.
I get uncomfortable numbness. I should probably consume alcohol more often and in larger quantities.
I second the motion on the floor.
The time tested phrase "Wake the fuck up", most certainly was not meant to represent "woke" idealism.
There needs to be late night taco truck action in Aurora or the C-rock
Hoverines!
OBC, how is the midget gig down there?
Trying to find an article where a statistician explained why preppers are not wrong to prep.
Can?t find it anywhere. Any of you remember it and know where to find it?
