Popcorn has a rough couple of days.
Tuesday was several thunderstorms rolling through and "patriots" determined to blow up the world.
Last nigh she pissed in the closet. Today she barfed in the morning and sprayed mud around noon.
This afternoon we had a blood test at the vet and got a nail trim.
If you want to sleep on my feet under the desk little dog, I am not going to disturb you.
Bo had a good 4th. The range didn't bother him, nor the fireworks (we had the good stuff). Got to meet many strangers to him, got lots of loves. This was his hangover morning on the ride out of town.

Love seeing these pics, keep them coming, hope all the doggies are doing well. It still hurts almost 7 months later to not have Ziva around.
Snoopy is also scared shitless of fireworks and thunder, it's been rough on him. I give him half a pill of acepromazine which helps a lot, as long I give it to him before the booming starts. Vets also prescribe Valium for dogs to calm them, ask your vet about getting something. I hate to drug him up, but it's lots better than letting him suffer.Quote:

They said sure no problem and charged me $35. They used to charge $20. All their prices have gone up across-the-board. They quoted me $650 for a teeth cleaning.
I am not going to spend $400 for a check up and shots this year.
It shouldn't be very difficult to find another vet, there seems to be one in every strip mall.
Got Smokey to the Bruneau Dunes State Park outside of Boise this weekend. Beautiful spot.

I’m watching Burgie this weekend for my son and his wife. They asked if I could get his nails trimmed, NOT one of his favorite things. It took two of the groomers to get his front paws done, then he settled down lol. Now he’s chilling.

Two additional family members on the Corgi Ranch. Still haven't named them...having a hard time coming to an agreement with the wife. Black one is a 9 week old boy, the little girl is 8 weeks. Non-stop from sunrise to bedtime. They learned the doggie door the second day. It's like having two little kids again...

And Rooster! Is there any way there is Rottie is his mix? Never seen such a creature. I saw a meme somewhere that said “a corgi crossed with any other breed just ends up looking like a corgi disguised as the other dog”. Proven true.
If he does it must go way back. And it's pretty hard to hide those ears! We actually got him and the little girl from a breeder near OKC. Didn't realize they were fully AKC registered but they are. We went out there for one pup and came home with two.
They're from completely different bloodlines and we bought them with the intention of having one litter in a year or so. Might be the last puppy I ever have. Since the bulk of my dogs have been rescues over the years it's fun to have puppies again. I haven't had a dog that had a litter of her own since 1994. Might be fun...
