Newest way to show off wealth seems to be going to the range and doing mag dumps.
First is the oil field pipe & cattle style fencing. All that rock the spouse laid out, to keep the dogs from wondering what's on the other side. As well as minimize skunks from entering

This is using basic fence post, that we strung 4" turkey wire around, for the garden. No need for a top rail

Howdy and shit.
Yo OBC OG
No moose. As for javalinas, we have dogs. Not that one wouldn't tear up the pups. That garden fence, is inside the multiple fences around the property. With 3 sides also having the rock border the spouse laid down. Plus the garden is bordered with the same rock. Not that anything will keep them out, they're determined buggers.
Interesting that with a recall effort underway, California has discovered an almost $76 billion surplus and will be issuing checks and rent/utility assistance.
bunch of ammo in Cabelas Thornton.
223,9mm, 308,22lr,6.5 creedmore (2 boxes left),etc.
I just ended getting 1 box of cci 22lr.
Good Intel, thanks!
Speaking of ammo. Saw an ad in a defense magazine for a 338 Norma Gatling gun.
Wow and seriously wow.
I am not making this up at all.
In my life time, I knew about 3 MALES (no Trans gender) named Karen.
how?
Their name are actually prounced Kah-ren, but they spelled it as Karen.
[LOL]
I reload and really don't care. Especially with another keg of titegroup on the way. BUT i also train with airsoft and a bb gun. Well i did, till this bypass kind of put a damper on things. Oh well. 8-12 weeks of ammo not shot.
Cause i have a doctors note ;)
Teacher: We are going to Bangladesh
That one student named Ladesh [facepalm]
I've been ramping up from my reloading hiatus. Well, doing prep anyway. I have a shit ton of rifle cases (for my meager needs) primed and ready to go even though the stash is pretty deep.
That is how i feel when I shoot 338lm.
I went to 100yd range to zero in at 100 (i like the zero stop @100), but had too much cant (2/3 deg) from ring and the base. What a waste of ammo. I had to go home and change the cant on the ring to +1/6 deg, and still have 1/3 deg cant from the mount totalling 1/6 deg total cant.
Filed my taxes.
I underpay every year, this year wasn't as bad but still hate writing an $8k check.
If I pay that little, I'll celebrate.
I try to replenish my shooting supply but not quite managing with the occasional store offerings of 300 blk 220gr. I have enough brass now so maybe ought to buy a die set. But then will the components be available?
Or maybe I should shoot 5.56 for awhile....ah but the .300 is so much fun.
While drinking our morning coffee we watched a mink run up the river bank over the snow. A rare sighting we might have missed if weren't for the snow.
Outside a while later, I followed fresh bear tracks down the driveway and through the yard. Big bear, it stopped at the electric fence, backed away and headed through the meadow downstream. This bear knows the fence.
Funny thing is, I failed to energize the fence the night before. We got lucky.
We don't have enough deductions to exceed the higher standard. Single home, little debt. Weird is that i got $232 back from the state. WTF? Our AGI was ~$20k less last year than prior years. Still paid the fed ~$32k. Ouch. I'm probably supporting some liberal d-bag antifa fuckwit.
before I went to Costco to fuel, I went to cabelas.
Cabelas 144th has 12ga federal slugs. for 9.99.
I only got 2 boxes.
No Sams clubs down here, so I'll most likely become part of that Costco crowd soon.
Reloading equipment is still in boxes buried behind other boxes.
Happy Monday to ya all.
No Sam?s Club here either. Too bad. There were a number of products we liked better than Costco. They also had online ordering and easy pickup.
There's Sam's in Cottonwood and Flagstaff, we've shopped at both. But that's a good ways from Chino Valley for once a week shopping.
We like Sam's and they're getting better. The Longmont store is remodeling to be almost exactly the same as the Grand Junction store. Better yet very soon.
Flag is a decent day trip, but it's like going to denver, only more tourist with winnebago's and lumbering 5th wheels. . If you're not there by 9 and planning on leaving by 11, the latest. You're screwed
Cotonwood i can deal with. But for the drive. It's easier to hit costco, after the early senior rush.
Tell you what. Throw a tube of bengay, or aspercreme in to the crowd. You might as well have thrown a bleeding baby seal, in to a group of sharks .
