Good luck! You got this!
we re watching Original fast and furious.
my kid needs to know what real fast and furious is about. not those cg junk stunt and fake action that has nothing to do with ricer/civic/very golf/NOS.
^ I tried. I could only do 30 minutes at a time.
I think I ve got some brain damage.
Good luck, Amberg...hope you land it.
At sunset tonight, the local owl stopped by to perch on the dead tree.... northwest part of my property. I'll never take that tree down because I know he likes it, and I want him around as often as possible.
F & F blows ass...no matter which one.
Vin Diesel should do more Riddick movies IMO.
I am going to Toyota dealership for my last free maintenance.
After today,I would need to pay for an oil change or diy.
Yeah, and getting rid of your used motor oil is kind of a pain in the ass if you're going to do it right.
I just have the servicing dealer do it. Costs more, but the service record is easy to account for if I want to sell/trade it. Most importantly it keeps me off the garage floor.
Changed oil and lubed the John Deere today, a lengthy process made worse by the paper wasps that nest in the loader bucket arms through various drain holes. Nasty buggers, I used most of a can of wasp spray on them. I manage to get stung two or three times a year but they didn't get me today, yet.
Yesterday, I drove I-70 across the state and squeezed through less than 5 minutes before they closed the road through Glenwood Canyon. It was closed on the possibility of flash flooding in the areas denuded of vegetation by the fire last year. It's still closed and may be indefinitely if there's any chance of rain. It looks likely Glenwood Canyon will still be closed when I head east next week. The alternate route is north through Craig, Steamboat Springs, Kremmling and back to I-70 at Silverthorne, a 4.5 hour detour! I think we'll be dealing with Glenwood Canyon road closures for the next several years.

I did the same today, though my little JD lawn mower is lesser in nature than yours, I figure.
Don't neglect your lawn equipment and give them some lovin too. Fresh oil, filters and such.
I've been kicking ass around the property this past couple weeks, looking pretty good actually. Flagpole gets installed on the 5th, gonna tell the trash guys to pound sand for boning me on my dumpster, and kick the propane provider to the curb as well and sign up with a competitor instead.
Don't tell me you wont fill my small bottles when you're here filling the house tank, blow me....and don't hose me over on a fvckin dumpster for $70 a month. Assholes.
Don't forget your sunscreen.
I spent about three hours mowing around the property the other day, and burnt the shit out of my knees. Dumbass.
Don't forget, the CDC says sunscreen only works if everyone is using it.
paying for a tool, isn't the objective. It's having the tool available, when YOU, need it. The lift, lathe, welders, mills, saws and other misc tooling will never pay for them self. Wandering ou to the shop anytime, day or night, is where it pys off.
besides, 1 time laying on the ground in the winter, because you have to. Will be more then enough payment wise, for the lift.
^ not metaphorically, but literally.
Strange shit,
Yesterday I got stung by a yellow jacket on the side of my right hand about midway between the second joint of my thumb & the wrist.
I barely have a blemish like a gnat bite at the site of the sting, but the muscle just below the outside of my elbow is so swollen it looks like I implanted a Half of a hand ball under the skin and is hot & aching.
I?ve never had a remote reaction to a wasp sting like this, they have always swollen up at the sting site and never as much as this.
Go figure ? Am I developing an allergic reaction to wasp venom or what ever it is called when it comes from a stinger.
In comparison to the cost of the building, the cost of the lift would be insignificant.
I want a new shop with a lift.... and it would give me a woody to have it. Not in my future though, I'm going broke.
New flagpole is installed now, kinda happy about that. The solar lights that I was planning to use aren't effective enough to do the job I expect. Got a pole mounted led spot light coming though and it looks like it's gonna do what I want.
The Owl perched up on the dead tree again tonight, he's huge.... he boogied before I could get the binoculars on him this time.
That sounds pretty sweet. I have a place in the front yard where I want to put one in. Fortunately, I have an outlet not too far from the location to use for lighting. The one thing holding me back right now is that the location isn't far from the master bedroom. Not sure how much sound the flag will make popping in the wind at night. I guess if it's that bad, I probably should take it down anyway.
Do a solar powered light. We have something similar to this.

Having an outlet out there in the driveway area would be nice, but I can't justify the expense to get it done.
This is the light that we chose...

Duck Soup.
Haven't seen in years.....funny shit.
Got that flag light today, and it does come with ground mounting spikes and it might be bright enough to go that route. Need Mr. Sun to charge the panel up enough to find out. I'll use the brackets for the pole if it's a more desirable effect.
Well, in 16 days....I'll have the first hand/wrist rebuild.
I hope this shit works. Then the other hand and then off to Flag to find out if I need back surgery to fix my jacked up feet. This getting old thing blows ass.
Had my first class with the local Citizens Police Academy last wednesday. The Chief here is a pretty cool guy and I look forward to the rest of the classes...maybe I can get an inside edge to work for the town in some kind of support role, that would be cool. Met a lot of cool folks attending the Academy.
I'm kinda pissed off though, my procedure is three days prior to the shooting simulator day. Fvck. Offhand training should still make it fun.
I did attend the Academy in Brighton some 15 or so years ago, and I had a good time there as well. I really like this little community and it feels good to participate with the local law enforcement this way. Like I said, it also might open some doors for me as well.
If you've never experienced a police shooting/training class, I would recommend taking advantage of that if you have the opportunity to do so.
Where's Mazin?
I hope he's doing alright.
