Is this going to be another Kendra?
I was one of the last to know.....
:)
I would really like some live interaction scenario training, active shooter type stuff.
This academy doesn't have anything like that at all, and I don't see that there is any live fire range time or any vehicle driving/training like Brighton had. They will have some other interesting things that I'm sure will make the time spent there worthwhile. I would kick their ass driving in their own vehicles though, I know that.
:)
I would also like to thank the heavens or Rain Gods for delivering a normal monsoon season this year.
There are some REALLY happy toads around here recent.
Ain't been no rain in our little corner of the prairie for 2 months.
Class was cool, all four of the officers there to speak tonight were really cool and very personable. Tonight was traffic/safety and a lot of stuff that those of us in the shooting community are already aware of. Next week is K-9 and SRO.
I enjoyed watching the Glen last weekend, Elliot came from the back twice and almost caught Larson before the black and white. Nice to see Truex and Hamlin top 5 as well.
The Brickyard cometh....get the milk ready.
There was a time I didn't like them much either, but eventually I grew to appreciate them.
Thursday we had a storm roll through that dropped over 2 inches of rain in just over an hours time. Brief hail but nothing big enough to hurt the roof or vehicles. Nothing on Friday but we have decent chances over the next 5 days or so.
I'll have a lot of property to be mowing down over the next couple of weeks.
Sure. Keep rubbing it in.
Sorry man, didn't mean to.
That's no fart.....that's a space station.
Holy sheet, we're getting pummeled right now. Hail again, and I hope it stays small.
In the world of weather radar (reflectivity), Maroon, Pink, Purple, and then White is your guide to the level of nastiness.
There's purple in the line heading here now, hopefully that part will be west of here.
We're supposed to have our best chance of rain today that we've had in weeks. A whopping 20%.
Is a good thing I didn't choose to seed a lawn this year.
ETA: Oops. Was adjusted down to 10% overnight.
Any surgery kinda scares me, but especially anything on my vision.
You're in a trance like state when they slit your cornea. Then vacuum out the old lens, replacing it with a fixed lens, of choice. The weird thing is while under, it feels like you're under water, looking up, towards the surface.
Now a scary surgery is, having a penile reduction. But it's easier to wear shorts without people staring at you, afterwards.
I had to throw my old wallet out because of the last picture.
