Something like that.

We can't do flood yet.
For everyone else, I just spent the last 3 weeks or so down in AZ. Finally heading home now.
Senile..... lol.
I had hoped to shoot at least one match suppressed this year... but it's still not in. Tock tick tock.
I feel that since I didn't make a ton of money, and other unrelated stuff was going on concurrently, that it negatively influenced my feelings of Arizona in an unfair manner.
Currently, my assessment was that visiting AZ was like running into an ex-girlfriend in public. Then after a few moments of the awkward "How have you been?" stuff, you realize, you never actually dated this girl. But you know that if you had, it wouldn't have worked out.
How far along are you?
Can you even ask women that? I've got a pretty good story of making that blunder that scared me for life.
8 ish
I really enjoyed the rain. We got caught in a crazy storm that blew over trees onto RVs and smoked at least five transformers and all the power. Fun times.
That was a doozy last night in Aurora. 3:30AM, it's like POW! I thought it must be a tornado or something. It came on that strong. Cloud to cloud lightning, just a totally intense "rain storm." My car started honking, but you couldn't hear it over the storm. Freakish.

Arizona.
Like your old girlfriend, but you'd still do it.
:)
Five days until dominant hand impaired for several weeks.
I'm worried about this whole thing....I really hope the result after recovery and rehab is worth the procedure.
https://www.autohotkey.com/ is your friend.
When I broke my collarbone, they had me in a sling for six weeks. My hand still worked, however, so I cheated.
Some of you might remember the shoulder stuff I went through some years back. I've messed up my hands before, but nothing that lasted six or eight weeks or whatever it's gonna be.
I'm not a pussy, but somehow I'm worried about this business. Shoulders never really did heal right, and I need my fuckin hands to work. Tired of the constant pain though.
The kid is doing a whirlwind trip down south to see if he wants to move down there or not. Got to TN tonight, and I understand they had 17 inches of rain and severe flooding this weekend.
I've tried to tell him about the F4 tornadoes at 2:00 am, and hurricane leftovers, but he insists on checking it out. It'll be interesting to see where his head's at when he's done looking around.
I figure next weekend I'll be binge watching stupid shit dizzy on pain killers. We'll see I guess.
I'd like to make that last class next saturday.
OBC,
If it's muscular or tendons, ligaments, have you considered PRP?
I have some friends that swear by it. Not cheap and "experimental" so insurance likely won't cover it.
I've told him that...even gave him the opportunity to live here with us if he wants to. Love the boy, we'll see what he does.
Since when as a young man, did you ever listen to advice from someone 30 yrs older than you? I've tried.
Shit...this whole place is his anyways if I croak, but I'd rather have him here before that happens.
Thanks for the info, Brutal...I've never heard about that and I'll talk to my doc about it next time I see him.
eta: muscular or tendons, ligaments,
Its all of those things in both hands.
YOU CAN DO IT, CHARLIE BROWN!
I appreciate the vote of confidence. I submitted to the pre-covid test bullshit today for the Big Day on thursday.
I've been trying to get as much shit done around here as I can ahead of time.
Good luck OBC.
This morning I'm having ulnar transposition surgery for cubital tunnel syndrome in the left hand. Had it done on the right side last January. It has gradually corrected the neuropathy and muscle atrophy. I should be good to go for hunting season.
Hoverines are indestructible. ; )
speaking of surgery, I am ANOTHER one scheduled next month.
arthrofibrosis sucks. I could not schedule an outpatients therapy the same day, so scheduled the next
fiber gen is just too fast.
