I used to live in AZ. and I am pretty sure that possession of cactus porn is illegal there…
Unless it is a chola cactus, those can burn in hell.

Evidently my humor didn't translate.
Yes it did, but I refrained from commenting in order not to offend you and cause a triggered outburst.
Yes yes, you're all gentlemen.
Damn rats have damaged three of our cars recently, pisses me off. Temps dropping makes it harder for me to manage repairing them, but they eat the wires and I get to eat the cost of a new set of plug wires and diagnosis and repair time. Thanks MFs. I did buy some strobe light/sound devices that are yet to be installed as well.
Maskholes....amen brother Brutal.
Evidently my humor didn't translate.
No,...it did just fine.
:)
Added another digit to my old fartness today......I'm sure it also raised my anti vaccine, pro border, pro cop, anti CRT, lib hating racist score at the same time.
Kinda pisses me off there's been no official racist scale curve for me to identify just how horrible I am.
Well I hope these gizmos function effectively when I get them installed.
Glad you got that particular culprit.
Oh, I haven't fot him yet, but I do have a head of lettuce and now a shotgun that just won't just dig a trench in the yard when I'm half awake. I'm just more prepared for the range I have to hit him.
I have to open a door, immediately turn 90degrees and hit him in a half second before he's past my back yard fence. Without shooting my pellet grill. My odds just went up. I would be better with the Glock, but the direction I've seem him at is pretty in-line with the neighbor's. Don't want to risk a bounce
Get the F'r.
If these gizmos don't work for me I'm going nuclear.
Sometime back I posted about nervous ticks and irritating crap folks do when they're talking......I have some new shit bugging me besides the previously mentioned neurotic deficiencies. Everyone knows about the hand gesture folks, and if it's really bad, just give up speech altogether and start using sign language instead.
I'm talking about the excessive head movement and facial expression people.
Lets start with:
"giraffe neck head bobbing". Nothing you're saying becomes more important because of this creepy movement, stop it. Usually accented with hand gestures. Think Kamala.
"left and right head weave". Are you searching your brain for some bullshit answer?
"repeated giant eyes". Oh, did someone just shove something new in your ass again?
"permanent giant eyes". Constant Shock....OMG!
"permanent huge smile". Are you having an eternal orgasm?
"intermittent huge smile". Are you having intermittent orgasms?
"rollercoaster". The G force of the conversation has overwhelmed you?
Not entirely related, but a couple more:
"breath of death". The giant sigh with or without the audible enhancement...often with a mentioned head movement.
"snorkeling". The audible inhale to begin every next sentence. What was your time in the marathon?
"groper". Can't keep your hands off your own face...... Fidget much?
"fly swatter". Either get a hair cut or start using a barrette to keep your hair out of your eyes....Psuki.
More to come at some point.
Gonna be a wet and muddy x-mas around here this year.
Found out yesterday we'll have our fourth guest staying with us this year....a new record.
Wife's brother and his wife will stop by here on their way home to Howard from a PHX suburb. They're good folks and it will be nice to see them. Bonus....we'll be having a super badass stew prepared for them using a portion of a 20 lb. prime rib wife got for cheap the other day.
Neato.
After clearing all the blown down trees from last week I decided to bring in my favorite tree crew to take out 3 large spruce trees threatening my house. The largest was ~75 feet tall with branches overhanging the roof and fireplace chimney. The trunk was only 20 inches off the corner of the eaves. Eventually this and two others would have fallen on the roof and through the front windows. This effort is for both damage control and forest fire mitigation.
I'm good with dropping and processing large trees but when they're in danger of hitting powerlines or a house it's time to call the professionals to climb, limb and top them a section at a time. It's an awesome process to watch. The end result was a dramatic change opening the view up river even more.

One of our relative cater 4 days (~8 meals for 3) worth of Olive Garden as a gift.
It will be about 4 days straight of Olive Garden (carbohydrates and fiber).
They sure do and someone who regularly works that hard is probably a friend worth keeping. The tree crew that my friend has run the past 12 years is the hardest working team I've ever seen, bar none. And I've been managing crews in construction and farming much of my life. Over the past 5 years I've spent ~$8K for these guys to take out high risk trees around my house. Worth every penny. These are men who respect hard work so I work right along with them and get much more done than I've contracted for.
Ha! My friend just gave me a shirt with the logo patch, "Body By TnT", (the name of his tree company). It's a take off from another logo, "Body by Gold's Gym". For prospective employees it implies either you work out or you don't work.
It's what you're used to doing. At 70+, I'm deteriorating but credit my health and strength to working every day. I've been chain sawing trees in our forested yard since age 14 and still have a lifetime supply of firewood.
A neighbor and I gave our latest 14 trees to an older neighbor who has limited firewood on his property. He now has another 3-4 cords of rounds to split and stack and I'll be enlisted to help process it. He uses little more than a cord a year so it's money in the bank.
I have five. Two are Husqvarna that need rebuilds. You can borrow them if you wanna pay for the pro rebuild(s). :o
Tree work is a bitch for sure.
...and dangerous.
I fell off of 6' ladder while cutting branch w/ chainsaw. Ground was too soft for laddar.
Everyone is probably curious.... Yes chainsaw is okay.
One must remember that trees were here before us. They'll probably be here after us. Old Guard Boss.
For tree work on dirt and uneven ground it's important to use a three-legged orchard ladder. Never use a standard step ladder on dirt ground, it's a good way to fall just as you did. Also never use a three-legged ladder on a hard surface like concrete. They're made to grip in dirt but will slip on a hard surface.
I have eight orchard ladders from 6 ft. to 16 ft. They are so very handy that I use them every week. Not my photo but it's illustrative:

LoL. Good that chainsaw was my own and did not borrowed it from member here. It will be very hard to explain some scratches. [LOL]
Yeah.
I ve learned fast and someone told me about the special ladder. (After I fell).
It is only my 2nd time falling off the ladder. Good that I only have 6' ladder. Both were uneven grounds. (River rocks and yard/grass)
When people fall off the ladder. Make sure to detach yourself (away) from ladder in the air before ladder hit the ground. That can lead to broken leg in between step.
[ROFL2]
Against the odds, I've only had one ladder mishap. An extension ladder on wet concrete and steel plate.....as I was getting to the top the damn thing slid out at the bottom. I was young at the time and had no injuries.
I have had some close calls putting up xmas lights over the years though.
