Is that a knockoff Holosun?

Packing to move sucks ass. And packing materials are expensive. Spent almost $200 for f'n TV boxes alone, and didn't even get boxes for the smaller ones. (Although I admit that I have a TV problem)
Lookee what emerged from the snow in our mountain meadow today! The first two of seven plants are volunteers transplanted last year to a semi-circular array of rhubarb at the edge of the flower meadow. We spread a lot of seeds last year so might have more volunteers this year. Free food that the moose and deer aren't interested in.

It was a busy day on the Palisade farm as the wind finally calmed enough to burn weeds along the irrigation canal and lateral ditch. Also burned a 70 cubic yard pile of tumbleweed and slash prunings from the wildlife shelter belt. It's an annual chore and I'm about half done. Thirty years of doing this and never had a fire get out of control. Colorado River water will begin flowing in the irrigation canal (behind the burn area) on Monday.

This afternoon I had the pleasure of finally meeting forum member Foxtart at a gathering of mutual friends. Foxtart is one of the developers of this and other firearms forums. He's a very talented guy in multiple fields. I met Mrs. Foxtart several years ago when they operated a gun store in GJ. Later, I happened to meet his father when looking for Western Screech-Owls in a nearby park. Small world in a very big world.
It was great to get together and I look forward to meeting again. A trip to the Cameo shooting range is in order.
Yeah....moving sucks ass 00tec....I'm done, never moving again.
Thirty years of doing this and never had a fire get out of control.
Plenty of stuff to burn on this property, but I'm scared to death of starting the whole valley on fire. Some of the winds down here are predictable, but also known for strong gusts to just come out of nowhere at any given time.
I don't think I have enough bandwidth to run all the ring cams I have, thought about trying some trail cams out. Then again, four years now and we've never seen anyone doing creepy shit out here....I think they know better.
Found out I'm getting new neighbors across the road from me, discussion with the realtor/builder indicated the couple is mid/late 50's strong conservative gun owners and avid hunters as well. Might be nine months to a year before the project is completed, however, it's kinda nice to know they aren't flaming libtards. Might have a new buddy...:)
Working the pistol side of the range this weekend. I'm always curious where someone with an east coast accent is from. I ask this guy so where you from in NY? Narrow it down to the same town i graduated h.s from. BUT a different school, meaning he lived on da north side... Really what street? Seeing how it's rare to run in to someone from your part of the country. He tells me the street, now i'm real curious who this guy is. OK what address on X street? No fukin way, get da fuk outta here!, it sounds very familiar, like I know that address. Call my sister asking Hey you know this guys?
BAM!! son of a beech. Now i know why that address sounds familiar.......................................... .................It's my sister and B-I-L's address. Turns out this guy is my B-I-L cousin, whose dad sold them their house back in the 70's.
Ran into someone at my wife's work holiday party that went to HS with my mom in WI. Lady was a grade behind but they knew each other.
Just something that came out in the normal course of conversation.
Small world
Yeah, GK....the fenced one right across from my driveway. My ass kinda puckered when I heard they are from Washington, but then I heard they're pretty cool.........and they liked the Trump banner up on the side of my garage.
And that "six degrees of separation" thing doesn't seem so weird sometimes when it becomes evident.
In Space, no one can hear you Scream
Kinda convenient, as I don't scream much.
Bunch of different vehicles across the street today, I wonder if the first deal fell through.
Don't like strange fuckers in the hood cause it gets me a little edgy.
This evening I gave a PowerPoint presentation on the hummingbirds of Colorado to an audience of 51 people at the former Fawn Brook Inn. Mrs. Hummer and I got a nice steak dinner out of it. I thought I was done doing these but somehow I can't help myself. Met a fellow I've known of for decades but only talked with on the phone. He's a fellow big game hunter so it was great to connect.
This summer I'll be leading a team of master bird banders in Sedona where we've banded birds since 2012. Always fun. We've had as many as 800 people visit our banding tables in three mornings.
Big ginger dude....I dunno man. Been real quite over there recent, and been windy as shit too last several days.
"Someone's screaming my name.....come and make me holy again".
Another hand surgery on Thursday....fuck my ruination.
I'm gonna ask the bastard to put everything back to where it was before he made it worse.
No cast this time, started bleeding for a while this afternoon but I cant take the wrap off until tuesday. Its pathetic trying to use a mouse....ha ha ha.
Speaking of which, Stephen Wright is a funny bastard.

I'm going to have a good Easter weekend. The bunny in my trap and I are gonna have a little chat. Could've chatted with 2 of em, but the big one cannibalized the little one
Savage bunny considering the occasion.
I found a dead squirrel in the front yard today.
