They never jump on my line, but whatever.
Caught some decent size carp out there, but that's it.

Meh, fishing sucks in general at Jackson.
I gave up using traditional baits, so I just wadded up a piece of bread from my sammich on a treble hook and sent it, caught a few of em pretty quick.
I can't wait to do some fishing when I get back to TX. I don't even care to do the work to eat them, but it gets me out of the house and is relaxing. Pontoon boat, here I come
Not much good to eat out there anyway.
About the same at North Sterling and other plains irrigation resevoirs.
Walleye is ok, but Wiper and the rest are not much good for eating.
A couple of lines just went through my head....better not said.
:)
The "wiper" potential is still harassing my brain.
I don't think it would take a magician to pontificate the possibilities there.
Crappie ok with me just never caught any out there, same with trout.
If just out for sport spring can be a good time, Wiper are fun to catch but not good eating IMO.
Walleye ok to eat but Mrs bo doesn't like them.
We prefer to fish mountain lakes and rivers for trout.
I have always questioned the contaminants in the irrigation resevoirs along the North and South Platte rivers. They are the main drainage for the region. I believe some of the chemicals put on the fields along those rivers ends up in the reservoirs down stream. How much or any harm I have no clue.
We play occasionally at Jackson, N Sterling, Gurnsey, Glendo etc but haven't fished them for many years.
We used to go to Glendo quite a bit years back but stopped after it dried up. Haven't been up there in forever. The locals also didn't always take kindly to "Gang Green" as they called us. As I recall, park rangers were also always more apt to F with any boat with a CL tag.
Possibly an early monsoon season down here. Which is so nice... knowing while it's cloudy. It becomes an east coast, hot & humid time of year. The up side to rain, down here is. All those weed, foxtails & goat heads that withered. WIll come back with a vengeance.
Work sucks.

A brief howdy seems in order.
Howdy.
Sup?
Our mountain homes have water from an underground spring and each house draws from a pipe using a shallow well pump and pressure tank to service the house. Today I finished plumbing an upgraded dual filter UV sterilizer system for the cabin. It's all working fine. Soon, I'll complete the several service lines from 1/2 inch to 3/4" pipe and add another exterior hydrant. Some years ago I built one like this for the house next door. It's solidly reliable. But the new one has two inline filters and is more compact for installation in the crawl space. No water bill, just the pump electric service and occasional maintenance.
Amateur plumber having fun being creative. Seems I'm always doing farm irrigation and home plumbing work. Not that I really enjoy it but I rarely hire a plumber or HVAC specialist. Next project is a secondary jet pump and rain bird system on the roof peaks for fire control.

Nice work brother.
Never figured a compliment to someone was a thread killer.
It's a damn shame that I don't write down the funny shit I come up with, because in a couple of days cannot remember it.
I think I have stage 1 Alz.......I don't know when the Heimers part kicks in.
I hope the ho's have a good Fourth. It's my favorite holiday of the year.....and listening to the scanner so far this weekend I've heard some pretty stupid shit.
I'm gonna get fucked out of another year of live fireworks but I can watch stuff on TV. Better than nothing I figure.
In all honesty, it is getting kinda scary not remembering shit. Walk into another room and forget what the hell you went there for in the first place.
I don't like that.
They're doing a "drown light show" here.
groan
I've seen some video of that shit before, some of it was alright. But it seems like sex with a couple condoms on though.
You know....I'm not feelin' it.
My sleep problems are getting worse.
me too, but I'm heading to bed right fukn now.
Happy trails brother, good to see ya.
Woo hoo, just came up from the tornado shelter. First time we had to hide since 2017.
Lucked out, storm passed slightly north of us and funnel waited til a little east to drop.
Mrs bo was watching the storm rotate as I pulled into the yard.
enjoying fast break when the spouse says CHECK IT OUT!. As she points out the window. Coyote has one of the neighbors chickens in it's mouth, chowing down. Seen a lot of various wildlife running the area. Not seen a coyote with a fresh kill, till now.
[ROFL1][ROFL1] Tell me you did a face plant…. I am so picturing you doing a face plant…….[ROFL1][ROFL1]
Sorry for having a big laugh at your expense, but picturing someone doing a face plant after getting up out of the “Lazy Boy” and doing a face plant because they forgot to put on their prosthetic leg had me splitting my sides laughing……….
I'd have been standing out there and watching it too, Lobo.
GK it's been a drop off in wildlife around here this year so far. Never hear the owls or coyotes anymore like in the past.
There were three of those pigadillo things runnin' through the yard a month ago though.
Finally got that lumbar MRI today plus a secondary one in succession, spending an hour in the bangy tube sucked. Precluded with xrays of course.
Bitch is....I'm leaving that place and some assholes car alarm is going off in the parking lot. Black Yukon turd, and I realize there's a dog inside. WTF? I boogie in to the pharmacy and ask the guy some questions about the cars owners and he helps verify the owners aren't on our side of the parking lot, we go over to the other other side and spill it to the clinic desk....they're concerned and start looking into it, I called Prescott PD and in the middle of the call the owners come back to the Pukon. I was ready to break the fuckin window and saw there were two dogs in there. Beagles I think.
I ask these assholes if it's their car, they say yes and looked at me like it was none of my business and what's my problem? Dispatcher hung up and and I absorbed the moment.
I reminded myself that I'm positive I won't like it in jail...got in my car and left. Fuckin assholes.
I have realized that man invented alcohol to cope with the loss of his dog.
You're actually protected in AZ IF one needs to rescue a pet, or child, from a vehicle.

The spouse said. Holee sheet. Check this out...................... As she's looking out the window. Coyote has one of the neighbors cluckers in it's jaws, trotting down the easement. Big ol fat red hen, neighbors didn't know it till she informed them they should count their birds..
Skunks been fairly active in the lot next to us.
