Not necessarily a need since there aren?t any helmet laws in Colorado. I totally get it if you want to wear one. I didn?t see geographically where you?re located but Cycle Gear has a good selection. Performance Cycle used to have a good selection as well but I haven?t been in there in years. There?s also Revzilla if you want to venture near downtown Denver to go there.Quote:

Thing to remember is most important thing about a helmet is that it fits properly. Nice and even over your head without any hotspots. Different helmets are shaped for different head shapes.Quote:

777 pushed back from C10 at ORD, rolled out to taxiway. Full Stop. UA systems crashed.
Sit 1+ hour (paid* FC seat) so RHIP
NoGo on the takeoff, going back to the gate.
No gates. Weather in Denver (?) and earlier issues are rippling through the fleet.
1+ hour later, we're going to M13 (international terminal gate) WTF?
Sit...
Scratch that, back to the gate we started from.
Forced to deplane through a single gate (300 Pax). OK, fine, grab another beer in Club and then back to the gate.
Finally, we depart and make it home 4 hours after planned arrival. Could have been worse I suppose. At least the crew didn't timeout and get cancelled with no heavy qualified crew available.
* First time in my life I've ever paid full (surge) price to upgrade a seat. Vying for 1K on United and I'm spending like a drunk sailor to hit the PQP requirement. Upgraded us also for a return flight in Nov to Inurn Mom, buying award accelerators when I can. Making 1K is a big deal and brings great rewards. 2023 will probably be the last year I fly a lot and with a trip to Guam in play, I need the status and Plus Points.
Oh yea, it's out anniversary today too.

Happy happy, Joy joy. Along with generally falling apart anyways, over halloween weekend I developed decreased field of vision in both eyes and severe headaches. Goblin day, eye doc sends me to ER for CT, next day MRI and referral to neurologist.
Like any of you guys didn't think there was something wrong in my brain......lol. I'd rather laugh than cry, and I'll never lose my sense of humor.
If I get the opportunity to squeeze out a comment moments before I die, it's gonna be something smartass and funny. :)

I don't have a blood pressure problem, and multiple blood tests revealed nothing.
I am scheduled for vein surgery in my legs for clotting, maybe it was a mini stroke or something. I don't know but I'll let the docs try and figure it out.
Exercise is kinda limited to levels of pain. I do try to do some stuff depending.
