Hey CO. Don't forget to turn your glocks back, tonight.
Nice evening for a wedding. Sitting here waiting to walk my youngest daughter down the aisle to her husband.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...d516b9c804.jpg

Do folks seem to like bring a trailer to sell a special vehicle? My friend just inherited her dad's 92 Honda Prelude Si. Less than 75k miles and sounds like it's in amazing condition. Not something you'd put on craigslist or facebook marketplace.
Last car I sold was on blinker.com which was awesome, but that site is long gone.
We didnt know what kind of cat either but claimed lion. Definitely spooky hearing it out in the dark.

Howdy friends!....been a while ain't it.
Wanted to say Merry Christmas and New Year to you all. Wife made a metric shit ton of cookies over the weekend and I helped a bit when I could and also bagged 'em up, we delivered over fifty individual baggies six cookies per bag for our local police department and one for their K9 (Sirius)....their other dog is comfortably retired now. (Lesko). It felt pretty damn good doing that for them.
Waiting on a bone density scan before I see the surgeons for two fractured vertebra, cement wont work so it's pins and rods a comin' I'm told. Hopefully all this shit works out on the other side when it's all said and done. I picked up my permanent Handicap Placard today to place into whichever vehicle I can manage to get into and operate.....never thought I'd have something like that at 56. They're still trying to find meds that work for me but it's a law I have to see my primary every thirty days cause of the levels of stuff they're moving me up to. Big learning curve for them and myself.
The visit with the kid was real nice, we're glad he came down. He'll come down again next month to help us celebrate my wife and I's first anniversary "on paper" anyways. Ha. Love that boy, he's a good kid...I still keep trying to convince him to move his happy ass down here near us, that would be pretty cool. With the shit he knows how to do, and his strong work ethics I know he could find good employment pulling some decent salary down.
I told him about the placard today, and he said he "didn't know they gave those out to the mentally challenged". Little fucker. Clearly I'm a bad influence on those close to me lol. Hell, I've been awake for at least 36 hours now....sleep is just one of the things that's giving me fits all the time. Fuck me. Hey Lobo, I remember you chopped your locks a while back...and I'm going the other way nowadays. I've never gone full bore hippie before but I'm giving it a go. :)
I'm giving drone ownership a try for the first time, got me a new Bwine F7GB2 at a decent price NIB. I'm still trying to read all the microscopic gibberish in the little manuals before I enter the arena of possible instant disintegration by doing shit I'm not ready to do at a novice level. It should be a blast after I get my toes wet and start figuring shit out.
I need to fire this machine up more frequently and stop in more often, dammit.
:)
Good to see you post OBC, take care and hope you come out the other side well.
Thank you Brutal, I appreciate that. I did get the bone density shit over with today, resluts on Monday most likely.
All I can do is keep hanging in there to see what happens with all this.
On a side note.... I normally destroy ANY insect I find in my home. There is something different I've noticed though recently, there is a small spider that took up shop in the guest bathroom about 10 days ago. Tiny little web in the corner by the shower basin but he's always right there so I know where he is and I really don't see him getting any food in that location. He doesn't freak out with lights or activity near his set up, so I decided to let him live for now, I'm more curious about whether he'll venture somewhere else or continue with his plan.
Will he starve to death in place? I dunno but I'm willing to see what the hell he does.
As far as spiders go, everyone in CO knows the basic wolf spider. We have those down here as well, but, there is another species of wolf in this area at least that basically has rocket boosters unlike the standard wolf. Those fuckers are stupid fast, never seen anything like that before. To scale it must be like a 50mph arachnid....strange.
Anyway, hope everyone has a good weekend and stuff.
:)
Had two of these in the house this year(early summer). Good thing Mrs bo didn't see either of them.
This one was little over 6", almost stepped on it getting out of shower.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9507f2861c.jpg

As long as don't step on it bare footed.
If you're unarmed, you are a victim.
We have found the little bastards as long as 8" out around the shooting berm in the back yard.
If Mrs bo had found or knew about 6" long centipede in the house the apocalypse would be a walk in the park by comparison.

Watching Phoenix NASCAR race from either 1988 or 1989. My favorite era of stock car racing.

Benny Parsons was still racing.
Windshield tear offs were unknown.
The jack still weighed 40+ pounds.
Oldsmobile and Pontiac were still competitive.

Can't believe I edited a PWT post twice.

Could have been an extra two or three posts. Doh!

It does seem chilly out this morning.
Yesterday, I again worked the Sportsman's Expo in Denver for the CPW. The Kid's Fishing Tank was busy with kids reeling in nice rainbows left and right. Many were youngsters, some 4 and 5 years old who caught their first-ever fish. It was great fun and I look to do it again next year.
The Sportsman's Expo continues today and Sunday. If you have kids and want to do the fishing tank, I recommend going early as the weekend gets very busy.

Getting in shape after turning half century is harder than I thought. But it beats being dead. I think.
How you folks been? I haven't even had time to click here in a while, averaging 70+hr weeks. A full time job plus taking on a role as a partner in a local business takes all of my free time away.
So Mrs bo and I moved my safe from master to office. Was a PIA but we got it done.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...ea78cc6ba5.jpg

Were there stairs involved in the move?
Not this time.

Howdy to some folks I've not seen in a while.... :)
I've had a few of those pedes too that are of the larger variety. My wife freaks out too, and I gotta kill the fuckers before the dog sees it.
I had to kill my little spider buddy, I didn't want to but my wife reminded me how freaked out the kid would be......so sadly I had to end the experiment before he arrived for a short stay with us.
For Superbowl Sunday we fixed a Moose Bulgogi (Korean BBQ with a CO mountain twist). This week I'm cooking. Tonight was Steelhead Trout over mixed salad. Trying to keep it meat and veggies with very low carbs and no sugar. It's been good for us.
Last fall, I was fortunate to take my 2nd CO moose in 5 years. We're still working on the 2018 bull, so in one form or another, moose is on the menu about 4-5+ days a week, breakfast, lunch and/or dinner.

It's funny. Today my haircutter asked about the Superbowl and I told her we fixed the Moose Bulgogi. She said that they had Superbowl moose, too, at her daughter's home. Haircutter's husband got his first CO bull in North Park last fall and they fixed a roast.
