The AK vs AR match was awesome as always. We took the 9:00 and 12:00 matches and combined them into one. Then we added up the team results to give away plaques to the top 3 teams.
As an added bonus, Thunderbeast donated 3 free suppressor certificates to the match. Two went to the first place team and a third went to the first person to show up to help with setting up. So, everyone that slept in missed out on a free Thunderbeast suppressor. https://thunderbeastarms.com

AKs of any flavor suck. Lots of recoil, lousy triggers for the most part and lots of sharp edges.
I shot my normal 18 inch AR in the morning match and a 308 bolt gun for the noon match.

Yes AK's with iron sights suck but they are fun to mess around with once a year.
