HA! Dims just tried to take the whole process away and had to clarify their votes as "no on the nominee."
They are asking the floor vote get pushed a week.
This isn't up to the Judiciary Committee.
Grassley says he supports the delay and will advocate but can't control Senate timing. It's up to McConnell.

If McConnell caves to this, to get Collins and Murkoski on board, I hope the FBI can highlight Ford's inconsistencies and look into her background. But it won't matter. The smear is about narrative, not fact.
Correct me if I'm off on this, but didn't Murkowski lose a primary a while back and then win the in thr general as a write-in, or force a recount and come up with a bunch of votes that "got missed" originally? I seem to remember it being one of those but can't recall which offhand...Quote:
